Experience the United Kingdom – a beautiful country with a great history and traditions and the birthplace of the English language! In the United Kingdom, there are different kind of high schools. You may attend a Vocational College, Grammar School or Sixth Form (the most common one). You will enroll in classes that suit your level and previous knowledge. Math and English are compulsory subjects, but other than that, you are relatively free to choose the subjects you want to take by yourself.

High school life in the United Kingdom may be more traditional than you are used to. School uniforms are common, and addressing your teachers with "Mrs., Mr., and Ms." is standard. This is something our exchange students highly appreciate since it adds a lot to the cultural experience.

In the United Kingdom, there is a lot to discover. The capital city of London is amazing, but the country has plenty more to offer. Beautiful landscapes and medieval towns, along with an incredible coastline make the country diverse and perfect for trips and excursions in the weekends. UK FACTS
