PROGRAMME OVERVIEW This programme is an action-packed 4-year journey that guides and develops you into a GLOCAL (Global yet Local) digital business talent. It comprises a 1:3 learning approach, which includes 1-year intensive skills boot camp and 3 years of part-time studies with workplace experience.

1st Year: Full-Time Digital Business Skills Bootcamp​ A full-time Bootcamp (5 days a week, 8 hours a day) and over 2,000 hours of guided learning and mentoring from industry experts. Learners will gain an understanding of the digital economy and business models to create digital commerce ventures using the Lean Canvas methodology. Learners will identify innovative solutions, establish digital commerce strategy, facilitate product positioning, set up an online store, and implement digital sales and marketing processes to engage customers and stakeholders in a digitally enhanced environment.

Website Development will introduce learners to the use of content management systems (Wix & Weebly) as website development tools. Learners will go through the process of planning the contents of the website, designing the user interface, and setting it up for Search Engine Optimization.

Learners will learn digital marketing principles, digital marketing channels, and digital marketing techniques to launch digital marketing campaigns with effective content for supporting each stage of the customer lifecycle using Facebook and Google.

Learners will acquire social media marketing skills including strategies and techniques to build a strong presence on social media using Linkedin, blogs, Instagram, etc. They will also learn how to conduct social listening and influencer marketing and use various tools & techniques for executing campaigns and Social Analytics to measure results.

Digital channels (search engines, websites, social media, email, mobile, etc.) and technology have transformed what it means to be a communication or marketing specialist. Learners will acquire advanced communication skills for digital engagement across online to offline digital channels including visual design for compelling content, and writing with embed keywords that deliver optimized search results.

Learners will gain an understanding of content marketing strategies to develop a content plan for supporting seamless customer journey and engagement. Learners will learn inbound marketing planning and content creation, content promotion, and optimization to include a visual design for compelling content development.

Solution Marketing & Sales

The Search Engine Marketing and Optimization module enable the learners to master SEO strategies and on-page & off-page optimization and understand the role of content in SEO. The learners will be able to execute ad campaigns in Google Ads. The learners also learn how to set up Google Analytics and gain insights from various reports, set up dashboards, customize reports, create and track goals and perform conversion rate analysis and analysis of user behaviour on websites.

This module introduces the learner to the functionalities in Omni Comm that grow and nurture your community (Content Marketing). The learner will learn how to manage profile data and the process to upload/importing contacts from external systems. The learner will also learn about Campaign Management using EDM (Mass emailing). By the end of the modular course, the learner will be able to design, document, and configure Content Management Processes and promote every customer-facing page using online mediums such as Facebook & LinkedIn.

Learners will practice Digital Marketing skills and learn how to develop a marketing plan, monitor email marketing and digital marketing campaigns on Social Media, Google Ads & Facebook, optimize campaigns and provide recommendations for improving ROI.

Learners will define product-market fit using the sales canvas methodology to identify buyer persona, establish the problem statement, design solution mapping, predict sales objections, formulate sales & marketing channels, and determine market viability. Learners will prepare a sales pitch and presentation guided by Sales Canvas developed to support full sales cycle engagement from sales discovery, solutioning & sales closing to customer advocacy.

Agile Management

This module describes the marketing theories to develop sales support and customer management programs. Implement sales and marketing activities. Learners will also dive into lead management, marketing forms and pages, segmentation, and email marketing messages. All these pieces are tied together through interactive customer journey design, including event and survey configuration.

Learners will apply the knowledge and skills that they gained in all the 10 modules of digital marketing, digital sales, and marketing in the given real-time scenario of the organization. Learners who are attached to the client/workplace learning will do this project for the attached company. They will execute all the tasks given in the project brief in the real-time scenario of the organization.

This industry project will be performed in continuation to industry project 1. Learners will apply the knowledge and skills that they gained in all the 10 modules of digital marketing, digital sales, and marketing in the given real-time scenario of the organization. Learners who are attached to the client/workplace learning will do this project for the attached company. They will execute all the tasks given in the project brief in the real-time scenario of the organization.

Business Accounting is an introductory course in financial and managerial accounting. It provides an understanding of fundamental concepts used in accounting and their role in business. Students will learn the basic knowledge and skills to analyze and apply accounting information to support decision-making.

Human Resources Management

Students will learn about the principles of effective Human Resource Management (HRM). You will explore the tools and techniques used in HRM to maximise employee contribution and how to use HR methods to gain a competitive advantage.

This module introduces learners to theories and tools for how to think ethically about business and business practice. Almost every day, we see examples in the media of businesses, and business people, that ‘behave badly’. But what is it to behave badly – is it breaking the law? Or is it transgressing some ‘rule’ on what is acceptable behaviour? And if it is the latter, how do (indeed can) we agree on what the ‘rules’ are and what ‘good behaviour’ is?

This module introduces learners to the key theories and practices of branding in contemporary society. The module examines what brands are and the challenges they are facing nowadays, as well as fundamental concepts in brand management including consumerbased brand equity, brand elements, brand positioning, brand communications, brand experience, brand extensions, brand architecture, and corporate branding. The Business and Management Dissertation and Business Readiness module consist of an individual student-led investigation into an applied business problem or an issue selected by the student. The dissertation is an individual piece of work that presents a thorough and critical review of literature relevant to the research area under consideration.

This module will give learners a clear understanding of what Strategy is all about and how organisations develop it. You will also learn how to apply the essential concepts and tools of strategy that will be useful in your business career whichever sector you choose.

Innovation is critical for the survival and growth of all organisations. In this module, learners are offered an opportunity to explore how various forms of contemporary organisations are able to develop and manage their innovation activities. The module examines what is meant by innovation, why innovation is critical for organisations, and how innovation activities are developed and employed in contemporary organisations as a means of driving and shaping their business. CRITERIA ELIGIBILITY Minimum 1 credit in GCE A level or its equivalent​ IELTS 5.5 or its equivalent, or candidates who completed school education in English as a medium of instruction​ IELTS - 6.0 (with no elements lower than 5.5) is the criteria eligibility for BSc. (Honours) in Business Management and Marketing (Top-Up) conferred by University of Roehampton.
