The introductory course Accounting Certi cate Level 2 focuses on the key concepts and terminologies of accounting bookkeeping. At rst, you will learn the fundamental difference between bookkeeping and accounting along with the difference between the purpose of management accounting and nancial accounting. Next, you will be introduced to some of the practical skills in numeracy. Then, the free course focuses on the fundamental concepts that underpin double-entry accounting. Lastly, the course teaches you income statement or the pro t and loss statement and shows you how it ts with the accounting equation and the balance sheet.

Assessment This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
