This is a course which is more suitable for students who are interested in conducting research in scienti c computing. This course includes teaching on linear algebra, numerical optimization, ODEs and PDEs. You will be introduced to advanced MATLAB features, syntax and toolboxes that were not included in the introductory courses. Advanced 2D/3D plotting, graphics handling, publishing quality graphics and animations, code optimization, object oriented programming and compile MATLAB in this course.
Assessment This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer need to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
