In Jury Rooms and other official rooms across the nation you are likely to find a plaque of a letter by Robert E. Lee accepting a position with the Washington and Lee University. They were distributed by the Exchange Club and they still provide this plaque. Honoring the Confederacy has no places in our justice system. Don’t assume this is just in the South. It is likely in your town no matter which state you live.

Monuments are about shaping a view of the past in support of an ideology to direct the future. Monuments are part of fighting for the future direction of society.
