An Upper- case Education
The Brief
Background
Produce a series of type driven informative posters to be sold to young designers at the LeedsUniversity Book Fair.
The LeedsUniversity Book Fair in an annual event that attracts designers from Leeds,Manchester, Sheffield, Lincoln and other surrounding cities and towns. Many art and design students also naturally attend it from the university.
They should aim to educate and guide young designers in the right direction, so that they can better understand the nature of graphic design before they lose themselves in what is at times a confusing profession.
Concept/Proposition Source inspirational quotes from designers, critiques and commentators on graphic design to inspire, educate and guide.
Considerations
Mandatory Requirements
The posters should be able to be produced in other formats, to be potentially sold as an alternative product(s).
A series of messagedriven posters.
Print methods, scale, number of units, delivery, packaging, tone, clarity, message,aesthetic, stock, colour, typefaces.
A low cost solution to maximise profit.
An alternative format that too can be sold.
Packaging solution for any products sold at the fair.
(Reach an established design audience who agree with the message.)
