LYCRA速 Future Designers Contest Part of WGSN Global Fashion Awards
Once again the LYCRA速 brand is bringing its Future Designers initiative to the WGSN Global Fashion Awards as one of the Award categories. In existence since 2009, and part of the WGSN GFA since 2012, this unique prize will offer one outstanding student/graduate designer the chance to work with expert mentors at INVISTA, and receive a prize to the value of $20,000 as benefit-in-kind to aid the development of a collection to help kick-start their careers. INVISTA and its LYCRA速 brand will not only be looking for a designer that brings fresh ideas and creativity to the market but who also has a strong sense of their own brand and a clear understanding of their target customer and where they would like to take their careers/business in the future.

Who can enter? The entrants must be a current student (or have graduated no earlier than June 2013) from a recognised fashion/design school on any fashion design course.

How to participate? Entries via https://globalfashionawards.wgsn.com/ Entrants must submit a minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 designs of pieces/looks that could be manufactured using fabrics with LYCRAÂŽ fibre brands and innovations
At least 3 of the pieces/looks must be made up of any of the following: intimates, swim, active/sportswear or hosiery/tights
