2022 eDynamic Learning Career Compass Awards Thank you for your interest in the eDynamic Learning’s Career Compass Awards! As a teacher founded company, we take great pride in helping schools engage students in the discovery of new and unique career fields through our digital curriculum and simulations. Our mission is clear --to enable schools to give students opportunities to tie their interests and skills to rewarding professions. Discovering one’s unique skills, talents, and interests is the path that enables students to find success in school, college, and/or career. We know that teachers, like you, make the biggest difference in the lives of their students every day, and this is our opportunity to recognize and celebrate your success. The eDynamic Learning Career Compass Award honors teachers using eDynamic Learning and/or Knowledge Matters to guide passion to purpose, keep students engaged, and prepare them for their future.

GENERAL INFORMATION ELIGIBILITY • Please make sure to read through each of the eligibility requirements, criteria, and questions before submitting your application. • The 2022 eDynamic Learning Career Compass Award is open to any United States certified teacher currently teaching utilizing the eDynamic Learning curriculum and/or simulations in their public, private, virtual, or charter school program. • Qualifying teachers must service at least eight (8) students in grades 6th-12th. • Please select the category, or categories, that best support the courses you teach. If you teach courses in more than one category, you may apply for up to two (2). *See the Category Section and the Qualifying Courses taught under each section below to help you in your application process. • You, as the teacher, must have approval by your school/district to participate in the application/award process. • Application must be complete to be considered. • eDynamic Learning employees and their relatives are not eligible to apply. HOW IT WORKS 1. Application submission period is between January 10th 2022 9:00 AM EDT – April 9th, 2022 11:59 PM EDT. 2. You may apply for up to two (2) categories but if you are selected as a finalist, you will be eligible as a finalist for only one (1) category based on the score of your application. 3. Voting by a five (5) member Educator Advisory Panel will take place from April 11th-April 25th, 2022 and will select up to three (3) finalists from each of the above sixteen (16) categories to be shortlisted using the rubric attached in the application. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final. 4. Applicants and finalists will be notified via email on May 1st, 2022. 5. The finalists will be recognized on the eDynamic Learning website and included in a press release on May 2nd, 2022. 6. Finalists will all be featured Saturday, May 21st, 2022 at a special virtual Career Compass Award ceremony and one (1) winner from each category will be announced during that live event. All finalists must be available to participate at the hour-long ceremony on Saturday, May 21st, 2022.

*If no applications were submitted for a particular career category, the category will be eliminated.

SUBMITTING YOUR ENTRY • Please make sure you fill out all required fields in the form, including all questions to be eligible for consideration. • Each response in the questionnaire may not exceed 250 words (approximately 1500 characters). • Submit the completed application packet, in one of the two following formats: 1. Please ensure that your files include your name and reference any images with the question responses. * Any visual evidence you optionally provide cannot include images of students faces or information, personal identifiers, or proprietary information. DEADLINE The application packet must be submitted on, or before, April 9th, 2022 at 11:59 PM EDT. The application must include your contact information, the questionnaire, your brief bio, release form and a headshot photo (Headshot photos and short bios will be used to recognize finalists on the eDynamic Learning website.)

THE PRIZES NOMINEE AWARDS: • The finalists from the sixteen (16) different categories will be recognized at the eDynamic Learning Career Compass Award virtual ceremony on Saturday, May 21st, 2022. A no-cost Professional Development event will take place before and after the ceremony for school districts who want to learn more about eDynamic Learning and Knowledge Matters curriculum for in-class, blended learning, online learning, or best practices for utilizing digital curriculum and resources. FIRST PLACE AWARD (ONE (1) WINNER IN EACH OF THE 16 CATEGORIES) RECEIVES THE FOLLOWING: • A $5,000 dollar Curriculum Grant for the winning teacher and their students at the school they are teaching at during the 2022/2023 school year • Complimentary eDynamic Learning Online Professional Development 2 hour webinar workshop for up to 25 participants AND one (1) self-paced eDynamic Learning Professional Development course license for the teacher (must be utilized within one (1) year of winning the award) • A laptop for the teacher (provided by May 21st, 2022) • A featured story about the winning teacher and their class program on eDynamic Learning website in 2022. • Teacher featured on the eDynamic Learning website and included in a press release (May 2nd, 2022) • A gift box of appreciation from eDynamic Learning (provided by May 21st, 2022) • Award trophy (provided by May 21st, 2022) *The $5,000 grant award is valid for one (1) school year and is not available in the form of cash or a refund. The grant funding can be used toward the license of eDynamic Learning and/or Knowledge Matters curriculum, and/or Professional Development services. RUNNERS-UP AWARDS (FOR EACH OF THE CATEGORIES): • Featured on the eDynamic Learning website (May 2nd, 2022) • Recognized at the eDynamic Learning Career Compass Award virtual ceremony (May 21st, 2022) • One (1) self-paced eDynamic Learning Professional Development course for the teacher (must be utilized within one year of winning the finalist award) • A gift box of appreciation from eDynamic Learning (provided by May 21st, 2022) • Award plaque (provided by May 21st, 2022) • $50 dollar Amazon Gift Card (provided by May 21st, 2022)
