Student Essay Grading Rubric Your essay should use a strong opening statement, provide supportive paragraphs, and end with a final conclusion. The essay should be at least five paragraphs in length and no more than 500 words. Your essay will be judged individually by five educators using the following grading rubric and their scores will be combined into one total score. CRITERIA
