Mother Earth and Father Sky In the beginning people used to tell stories of things they couldn't explain. Like how the world started, that was one of the 1st and it is in this book. In the beginning there was 3 gods, Gaia, Uranus and Pontus. People say that Gaia was created out of chaos and helped create Pontus and Uranus. Gaia found Pontus raging and Uranus soothing so she married Uranus. Gaia and Uranus had 12 children, the Titans. Thinking they would over throw him, Uranus trapped the Titans in Gaia. Still Gaia gave birth for Uranus, 3 monsters with 1 eye and 3 more with 100 hands. Uranus thought they were too ugly so he put them in the deepest part of the underworld, Tartarus. Gaia saw her once soothing husband as a cold monster. So Gaia called to the Titans. Take this scythe and attack up your father. Everyone was too scared to stand up except the youngest Kronos. He was power hungry so he took the scythe and attacked his father.

Titans and Gods. Gains monsters, the Titans, were the worst. There were 12 and their leader was Kronos, the Titan of time. Kronos married Rhea, one of his fellow Titan, and had 6 kids, the Olympians. Kronos was paranoid like his father so when his kids came he ate them. All except Zeus, the youngest. When Kronos wanted to eat him Rhea took Zeus aside and gave Kronos a rock instead. When Zeus was old enough he freed his siblings. Hades, Poseidon, Hestia, Hera and Demeter.

The War War was declared! Zeus and his brothers and sisters fought the Titans for 10 years. Zeus got the Cyclopes- beast with one eye out of Tartarus with the hundred handed ones to fight. The Cyclopes didn't want to fight so they made weapons for the gods. Zeus got a big lightning bolt he called his master bolt, Poseidon got a trident and Hades got a helmet that makes him invisible and he called it his Helm of Darkness. With all of those weapons the gods won the war.

Demigods Gods aren't the only heroes around, there were demigods too! Demigods are a combination of a god and a mortal. Demigods are not immortal, but they do have some power over their parents element. Like a demigod of Hades would have power over dead people. A lot of great heroes are demigods like Heracles, Jason, Theseus and Perseus. Now that you know this knowledge, share it with all. Just make sure it's the right person. May the gods be with you.
If you we're a demigod, what god would you want to be your parent? Example if you want to be the son/ daughter of the god of war, than Ares is the right one for you
