Nowier Alshamrani (CS Alumni) - won the First place in NASA Challenge in ABHA City. The first stage was a challenge held in more than one city in the Kingdom, and our student Nowier participated in the city of Abha. her project was judged internationally among all the participating projects from countries around the world. Thankfully, they won first place in the city of Abha and the team was among the winners of the top positions in cities across the Kingdom.

Dr. Mohammed Ghazala, an assistant professor of animation and the chair of the School of Cinematic Arts at Effat University, produced his film "The Pyramid," which received its fifth award at the Al Sharqiyah International Film Festival in the Sultanate of Oman. Additionally, the film was recently shortlisted for the Baghdad Film Festival in Iraq for screening.

Dr. Zain earned his Ph.D. in Computer and Information Technology from University Technology PETRONAS in Malaysia. With 11 years of teaching experience, he joined Effat University in 2012 and currently serves as the Department Chair of the Computer Science Department. In the 2021-2022 academic year, he received Effat University Award for Excellence in Community Service and this year he won Queen Effat Award for Excellence in Teaching and these awards recognize his outstanding contributions to education and his dedication to advancing knowledge in his field.

Dr. Ahmed Kassab is a 20-year-old industrial design expert and consultant in the Middle East, with 10 years of teaching experience, he is also known for his diverse projects and contributions to the field. He is a passionate advocate for the importance of design, and his work is helping to raise the profile of design in the wider region.
Dr Kassab seeks new challenges to strengthen his professional career and share his knowledge with others.

Linda Maloul Ph.D
Assistant Professor, Dean＆Acting Chair of ET＆ Director of MTI. Effat College of Humanities.
Dr. Linda F. Maloul received her Ph.D. from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom, in 2014. With 24 years of teaching experience, Dr. Maloul has received several honors, including the prestigious Overseas Research Studentship Award and the Gender, Sexuality, and Cultures Award.
Additionally, she won Effat University Award for Excellence in Teaching for the College of Humanities for the 20232024 academic year, as well as in 20192020.

Ms. Marina brings over nine years of diverse experience in content creation and film editing. Her most notable achievement is winning the “Best United Kingdom Documentary Short Film” award at the London International Motion Pictures Awards in 2019 for her poetic documentary OREGU.

His innovative contributions significantly enhance this field of study and bring recognition to our institution.
