COMPLIANCE WITH EFMA’S PRODUCT STEWARDSHIP PROGRAM
EFMA members will regularly assess compliance to the Product Stewardship program by using a Review procedure established in collaboration with Det Norske Veritas (DNV), a world-leading organization on risk management services and certification. This procedure consists of the following: - A Questionnaire addressing vital aspects of Product Stewardship; - Checklists to validate that day-to-day operations are in conformance with the explanations of the program; EFMA’s steering committee will regularly evaluate the members’ response to the Questionnaire and the progress made in the implementation of EFMA’s Product Stewardship program; EFMA and its member companies will establish action plans for continuous improvement.
