Inpark 8860 Fall 2019 Project Type: Housing Location: Lubbock, Texas Floor Count: 2 Project Scope: Inpark 8860 aims to bring 60 residential homes to a wide variety of families. The project does so by providing 3 building types. The project contains small, medium and large floor plans for newly weds, roomates and large families of 3. Unlike traditional apartments, these units allow the users to interact with the land by allowing the land to be used as a park when flooding occurs in the area. All units can be open to allow extra square footage outside.

Solar Study Section

Floor Plans Section Study: Considering both the winter and summer solstice the units use thermal energy to porvide warmth during the harsh windy winters. The large overhangs and thin horizontal windows prevent the units from overheating during the hot arid summers in Lubbock, Texas.

Spaces: Operable windows and doors open to allow outdoor spaces to blend in with the interior rooms, creating new opportunites to interact with neighbors.

Weaved Archive Spring 2019 Project Type: Public Location: Lubbock, Texas Floor Count: 3 Project Scope: In the center of downtown Lubbock a archive should be placed next to the exsiting library and the performance art center. Combining an outdoor park and weaved interior spaces, the building thrives to be multi-functional. Multiple access ways allow foot trafic to pass through the building, while hiding parking underground.

Samadhi Center Fall 2018 Project Type: Public Location: Denver, Colorado Floor Count: 3 Project Scope: The Samadhi Center aims to provide the City of Denver a place in which 60 inhabintants can medidtate and experience a break from a busy lifestyle. The building hosts several living accomidations while using brick and glass to respect the historic downtown architecture. The glass provides great views into the Cherry Creek canal. The building’s form is split in two while a reflection pond connects the two forms into one.

MODERN CABIN Summer 2020 Project Type: Single Family Residence Location: Roma, Texas Floor Count: 2 Project Scope: The Cabin provides views several views to the natrual landscape in Roma, Texas. Several glass curtain walls bring in natural light and with the high ceiling heights the projects aims to create a cool well ventelated interior space for its occupants.

LBK RECREATIONAL CENTER Spring 2018 Project Type: Assembly/ Public Facility Location: Lubbock, Texas Floor Count: 5 Project Scope: Lubbock’s downtown urban fabric is slowly falling apart as more public buildings and businesses move further to the Southwest of the downtown area. Due to a decrease in attractions to the area, the LBK Recreational Center aspires to bring health and indoor activities to the neglected communites of the Northeast side of Lubbock.

Summer 2020 Project Type: Conceptual Project Scope: The goal was to create a physical model and photograph it. Once the images were captured we then had to crop and cut several images to compose new architectural spaces than only exsited in the digital realm. The process repeated iteself into several fragements of reality and digital spaces.
