TWIN RING PAVILION

06 Twin Ring uses an approach in the form of attraction in its facade design. Attractors are used to create the right attractor points to be applied to buildings. Before determining the attractor points, radiation analysis was carried out using the ladybug plugin. The attractor uses wood material with a triangle pattern.

ELEVATING THE TWIN RING CONCEPT AS A SYMBOL OF ATTACHMENT TO NATURE

CONCEPT

Getting close to nature is one way to reduce stress levels, so we want to apply the concept of attachment to nature which is symbolized by the Twin Ring. We apply this Twin Ring in terms of the shape and material we choose.

The location taken is the Setiabudi Transmart Mall area and the surrounding area. The map used for the analysis consists of Jalan Jendral Pol Anton Sujarwo, including an area of about 100 M. The map of the research results uses the DepthmapX program.

ANALYSIS RESULTS

Through the results of connectivity analysis using DepthmapX. It can be seen that the mall area and other public areas are located on roads that have high road connectivity and integration. This high road connectivity and integration has an influence on the road area and the availability of road facilities such as bus stops and pedestrian areas. Jalan Jendral Pol Anton Sujarwo, which is colored red, indicates that there will be a lot of vehicle encounters on that road. Due to many vehicle encounters with a relatively wide road area, vehicles will tend to drive at high speeds which are prone to the risk of accidents on the track. The yellow path is the impact of the connection with Jalan Jendral Pol Anton Sujarwo, which is a primary road with moderate connectivity. This also affects the level of congestion which is quite high due to the transition from major roads to smaller roads. In this area, it will usually be used as an office area, workshop and school area as well as a dining area / stall. Blue trails are more private areas with lower connectivity. This area usually tends to be residential housing with a relatively smaller road area.

09 In its design facade, Orchid Pavilion uses an orchid-shaped shell with a waffle construction model using rhinoceros and grasshopper programs.
