Concerne : ordonnance de la chambre du conseil dans un dossier de corruption, blanchiment d’argent et organisation criminelle au sein du Parlement européen Dans le cadre d’une enquête à grande échelle menée par le Parquet fédéral et la police fédérale relative à des faits présumés d’organisation criminelle, corruption et blanchiment, une personne a comparu ce matin devant la chambre du conseil du Tribunal de première instance de Bruxelles. Dans son ordonnance rendue de ce matin, la chambre du conseil a prolongé la détention préventive de E.K d’un mois. Si, endéans les 24 heures, appel est fait de cette décision, la personne concernée comparaîtra devant la chambre des mises en accusation près la Cour d’appel de Bruxelles dans les quinze jours. Dans l'intérêt de l'enquête, aucune autre information ne sera donnée pour l’instant. La presse sera informée d’éventuels nouveaux développements par voie de communiqué.

Betreft: Beschikking raadkamer in het dossier rond corruptie, witwassen van geld en criminele organisatie binnen het Europees Parlement
In het kader van een grootschalig onderzoek van het federaal parket en de federale politie naar vermeende criminele organisatie, corruptie en witwassen, is deze ochtend een persoon voor de raadkamer van de Rechtbank van Eerste Aanleg te Brussel verschenen. De raadkamer heeft deze namiddag in haar beschikking de voorlopige hechtenis van E.K verlengd met een maand. Indien de betrokkene binnen de 24uur tegen deze beslissing beroep aantekent, zal zij binnen de vijftien dagen voor de Kamer van Inbeschuldigingstelling bij het Hof van Beroep te Brussel verschijnen. In het belang van het onderzoek wordt voorlopig geen verdere informatie gegeven. De pers zal aan de hand van persberichten op de hoogte worden gebracht van de laatste ontwikkelingen in deze zaak. *****
Subject: Decision pre-council chamber in the case of corruption, money laundering and criminal organization within the European Parliament As part of a large-scale investigation by the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office and the Federal Police into alleged criminal organization, corruption and money laundering, one person appeared this afternoon before the pre-council chambers of the Tribunal of First Instance in Brussels. In its order this morning, the pre-council chamber extended the pre-trial detention of E.K. with one month. If she appeals this decision within 24 hours, she will appear before the Indictment Chamber at the Brussels Court of Appeal within 15 days.
