Sand & Spur open house

Eglin's Sand & Spur Riding Club invites the entire Eglin community to its annual Open House, taking place at the riding club's complex off Memorial Trail (just east of the Exchange and Commissary).

This FREE yearly event is open to all with base access, and welcomes all ages to come out and enjoy interacting with the club's horses and ponies.

Activities include FREE pony rides, face painting, hay rides, a horse grooming station, riding demonstrations, ropes teaching . . . and an opportunity to paint a real horse! Helmets must be worn by anyone under 18 while riding. Some helmets will be available; please bring your own if possible. Closed toed shoes are recommended. Release-of-liability forms will be provided upon entry and must be signed by all visitors. No dogs or other animals allowed, on or off a leash. No smoking on club property.
