“Air” Lab is an experimental project, which involves dance improvisation, modern plastic theater and playback theater. The project’s performances include elements of dance improvisation and spontaneous creation of the viewers’ stories. Stories come to life on stage in real time in the shape of physical performance and musical improvisation. Every performance is completely new. There are no scripts or words. This is about movement in our lives and living in motion, about sincerity of the body and showing our emotions through it. “Air” Lab is - 7 actors - 4 musicians - 1 photographer, sequential shooting The project started in January 2015, when 8 members of different theatrical and dance groups came together to focus on freedom of movement and attention to the body. “Air” Lab invites swedish organizations to become a partner in international project «VOICES. To be heard» IDEA. The voice is really powerful. Voice is able to vote, change mentality, support or hurt. There are over 7 billion voices around the globe. But only ones are heard. We’d love to HEAR THE OTHERS. ISSUE. In the era of globalization Russia is still very closed country with mentality of labeling people by good and bad. Different segments of people are hiding their fillings, thought, ideas and themselves in general. We strive for a better future for our country, better future for the World. Then we confident it's not a question of discrimination. It’s about ignorance of difference. And we can work on it PROGRAM*. - to collect stories of discriminated people in Russia by creating art and physical flashmobs, actions and online youtube channel - organize performances in Russia with stories of those people and picked with spectators ones to show in Sweden - make workshops «Body that shares the story» in Sweden for different categories of people - organize 2 performances in Sweden. The first with picked russian stories, the second with swedish ones. - bring swedish stories back to Russia in a way of the final performance with online broadcasting to Sweden - create a multimedia exhibition about people who are dare enough to speak and change the World for a better future.
