أسفر تحطم طائرة روسٌة مدنٌة ،عن مقتل 71شخصا كانوا على متنها ،قرب موسكو ،األحد ،بعٌد إقالعها من مطار دومودٌدوفو فً العاصمة الروسٌة ،وفق ما أفادت وسائل اإلعالم الروسٌة. وأكد مصدر فً وزارة الحاالت الطارئة لوكالة إنترفاكس لألنباء أن "ال فرصة بتاتا" لنجاة األشخاص الـ 71الذٌن كانوا ٌستقلون الطائرة. وأوضحت إنترفاكس أن حطام الطائرة تناثر على مساحة واسعة فً مكان التحطم. وأقلعت الطائرة من طراز "أنتونوؾ ،"148والتابعة للخطوط الجوٌة "ساراتوؾ"، متجهة إلى مدٌنة أورسك فً األورال .لكنها تحطمت فً إقلٌم رامنسكوي فً منطقة موسكو. وذكرت وكاالت األنباء الروسٌة أنها تقل 65راكبا ،إضافة إلى طاقم مإلؾ من 6 أشخاص. وأضافت الوكاالت أن شهودا رأوا الطائرة تحترق ثم سقطت فً قرٌة أرؼونوفو فً جنوب شرق موسكو.

تحطمت طائرة ركاب روسٌة بعد إقالعها من مطار دومودٌدوفو فً موسكو ،وقتل جمٌع ركابها وعددهم ،65وستة من طاقمها. وقد اختفت الطائرة التابعة لشركة "ساراتوؾ" عن أجهزة المراقبة بعد دقائق من إقالعها وسقطت قرب قرٌة أرؼونوفو ،على بعد 80كٌلومترا جنوب شرقً موسكو. وال تعرؾ أسباب الحادث ،وٌبحث المحققون وفرق الطوارئ فً مكان الحادث المؽطى بالثلوج. وكانت الطائرة ،وهً من طراز أنتونوؾ ،148فً رحلة إلى مدٌنة أورسك فً جبال األورال. وجاء فً موقع " "Flightradar24المتخصص فً متابعة رحالت الطٌران أن الطائرة كانت تهبط بسرعة ألؾ متر فً الدقٌقة بعد فترة قصٌرة من إقالعها صباح األحد. وعثر المحققون على قطع من حطام الطائرة مبعثرة على مساحة واسعة فً المنطقة. وقدم الرئٌس ،فالدٌمٌر بوتٌن ،تعازٌه لعائالت الضحاٌا ،وأمر بتحقٌق فً أسباب الحادث. ونقل موقع ؼازٌتا الروسً االلكترونً عن أحد المحققٌن ،دون ذكر اسمه ،قوله إن قائد الطائرة أبلػ عن وجود خلل وطلب الترخٌص بالهبوط االضطراري. وكان جمٌع الركاب من منطقة أورنبورغ التً كانت الطائرة متجهة إلٌها ،حسب متحدث باسم حاكم المنطقة فً تصرٌح لواكلة إنترفاكس. وهذا أول حادث تحطم طائرة ركاب منذ أكثر من عام ،إذا كان عام 2017األكثر سالمة بالنسبة للطٌران المدنً.

كشؾ مصدر مسئول بوزارة الطٌران المدنى ،عن أن الشركة الوطنٌة «مصر للطٌران» أعلنت استعدادتها لنقل الركاب من مطار موسكو إلى القاهرة، متخذة اإلجراءاتاالحترازٌة واألمنٌة كافة. وقال المصدر فى تصرٌح لـ«الدستور» ،إنه من المقرر أن تسٌر الشركة الوطنٌة 3 رحالت أسبوع ًٌا إلى مطار موسكو ،مشٌرا إلى أنه سٌتم استخدام طائرات بوٌنج 800 737الحدٌثة ،والتى تتسع لحوالى 150راك ًبا ،كما سٌتم زٌادة أفراد األمن اإلدارى على متنالطائرات التابعة لشركتى مصر للطٌران و«إٌرفلوت» طبقا لالتفاقٌات التى تم إبرامها بٌن الجانبٌن المصرى والروسى. وأوضح المصدر أنه سٌصل أولى الرحالت الجوٌة الروسٌة إلى القاهرة منتصؾ الشهرالجارى ،وتم التجهٌز الكافى الستقبالها عبر مبنى الركاب رقم ،2والذى تم تخصٌصه للرحالت الروسٌة. وأكد أن مسئولى وزارة الطٌران المدنى أصدروا تعلٌمات مشددة لألجهزة والقطاعات واإلدارات ،والجهات المختصة بمطار القاهرة بتقدٌم التسهٌالت كافة لركاب الرحالت الروسٌة. جدٌر بالذكر أن مصر وروسٌا وقعتا منتصؾ شهر دٌسمبر الماضى بروتوكوال؛ الستئناؾ الرحالت الجوٌة بٌن البلدٌن ،تضمن استئناؾ الرحالت إلى مطار القاهرة الدولى أوال ،وإلى مطارات المنتجعات السٌاحٌة مثل شرم الشٌخ والؽردقة الحقا.

The Dubai-based airline signed the deal as the World Government Summit opened in the United Arab Emirates city. Airbus says the carrier will start taking delivery of the jets "as early as" 2020. The airframer tells FlightGlobal that the production schedule for the 20 aircraft is set to run to 2027. If the additional 16 options are firmed, this will extend Emirates A380 production to 2029. Emirates has yet to select a powerplant option for the A380s. It has both Engine Alliance GP7200 and RollsRoyce Trent 900 versions in its A380 fleet, which stood at 101 aircraft at the end of last year. Firming of the initial part of the agreement takes Emirates' backlog of A380s to 61. "We look forward to continue working with Airbus to further enhance the aircraft and on-board product," says Emirates Group chief Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum. Airbus says the 16 options are to be "confirmed at a later date".

Crashed Saratov An-148 lost contact 7min after departure Investigators probing the loss of a Saratov Airlines Antonov An-148 shortly after departure from Moscow Domodedovo state that contact was lost just 7min after take-off. Saratov Airlines has identified the twinjet as RA-61704, an eight-year old airframe originally delivered to Rossiya before being transferred to lessor Ilyushin Finance and acquired by Saratov Airlines last year. It had been operating flight 6W703 to Orsk. Saratov has disclosed the manifest, listing 65 passengers and six crew members on board the ill-fated aircraft. Russia's Interstate Aviation Committee says the aircraft had departed Domodedovo at 14:21 but that it lost both radio and radar contact 7min later at 14:28. It came down near the village of Argunovo, some 40km east of Domodedovo, but the investigation authority has yet to provide any clarity over the circumstances of the accident. The An-148 was destroyed, it adds. Meteorological data for Domodedovo at the time of the departure shows light snow, freezing temperatures of around minus 5C, and low cloud, with cumulonimbus in the vicinity. Russia's federal Investigative Committee says the wreckage is spread over a wide area, with a radius of at least 1km. While this is potentially consistent with an in-flight break-up, investigators have not drawn any conclusions from the location or state of the debris. "No reports of an aircraft malfunction were received from the crew," adds the Investigative Committee, which has opened a routine criminal inquiry into the crash.

Domodedovo was forced to enhance security measures after sabotage brought down two aircraft departing the airport in 2004. It was also the scene of a fatal terminal bombing in 2011. Russian air transport was also the target of a suspected bomb attack in 2015 when an Airbus A321 crashed in Sinai shortly after departing Sharm el-Sheikh for St Petersburg. There is no immediate evidence that Russian federal security service FSB is participating in the investigation into the Saratov crash. During the early production of the An-148, an aircraft produced at the VASO plant in Voronezh crashed which conducting a demonstration flight. The investigation concluded the aircraft – built after the Saratov jet – had broken up in mid-air while travelling at excessive speed. The Investigative Committee says its inquiry will check weather conditions, the human factor, the technical condition of the aircraft and other possible scenarios. Deliveries of the firm order aircraft are to start in 2020. Together with its existing fleet of 101 A380s and its current order backlog for 41 aircraft, this new order brings Emirates’ commitment to the A380 programme to 178 aircraft.

Airbus stops accepting PW1100G engines for A320neo aircraft Airbus decided to stop accepting additional Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines equipping its A320neo family aircraft, after a higher than normal number of inflight shutdowns and aborted takeoffs were reported on aircraft using the latest build-standard engines. The problem involves the knife-edge seal in the high-pressure compressor aft hub and can potentially appear on engines starting with serial number P770450. 33 aircraft, according to Airbus and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). Airbus says around one-third of the in-service fleet of A320neos and A321neos has those engines installed so far, 11 of which are understood to have all two engines of the problematic standard and 21 just one of them. Pratt & Whitney had no immediate comment on the latest Airbus decision. The problem could become much bigger if the engine supplier cannot find a quick fix, as the delivery schedule of future A320neo aircraft will likely be seriously affected in that case. The issue is the latest in a string of problems that have bedeviled the GTF program. The A320neo’s planned 2015 entry into service was pushed into 2016 because of GTF issues, and both Airbus and Bombardier have blamed Pratt for A320neo-family and CSeries aircraft delivery delays as Pratt & Whitney struggled to ramp up production as fast as needed and as fixes to address reliability and durability shortfalls were simultaneously introduced. According to Pratt & Whitney, the latest issues do not involve engines for the Embraer E2 family and the Bombardier CSeries, but are limited to the Airbus application. The exact consequences of the Airbus decision are not yet clear, partly because the spare pool of PW1100G may include an unidentified number of engines that need no modification and can therefore be used. But Airbus has still parked around 30 otherwise completed aircraft at its manufacturing sites in Toulouse and Hamburg awaiting engines.

EASA on Feb. 9 issued an emergency airworthiness directive (EAD), warning of a potential “dual engine” inflight shutdown on A320neofamily aircraft powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1100G geared turbofan (GTF) engines. Industry sources say a total of four such incidents or inflight shutdowns have been reported so far, but the actual number could be higher. A Pratt spokesperson said the issue relates to a “limited subpopulation” of PW1100G engines. The EASA said that “several occurrences of inflight shutdown and rejected takeoff have been reported on certain” A320neo-family aircraft powered by GTF engines. There are 113 A320neo family aircraft powered by the Pratt engines in service (the CFM Leap-1A engine is also an option on A320neo-family aircraft). Both A320neos and A321neos are affected. EASA said aircraft with two affected engines can only operate three more cycles before one of them has to be replaced with a substitute that does not have the HPC aft hub issue. It is also said extended-range, twin-engine operations (ETOPS) can only be performed with two unaffected engines. Airbus has issued an Alert Operators Transmission )AOT( providing instructions “to de-pair the affected engines and discontinue [ETOPS] for aircraft fitted with affected engines,” according to EASA. Neither the aircraft manufacturer nor the agency disclosed what airlines are operating aircraft with affected engines. However, Indian LCC IndiGo confirmed it has grounded three A320neos after the EASA EAD was issued. “We have identified the potentially affected engines and communicated with our customers,” the Pratt spokesperson said. “As a precaution, aircraft with these engines will be addressed in a manner consistent with the operational instructions issued by Airbus, and coordinated between Airbus and Pratt & Whitney as needed.” Airbus said in a statement that Pratt is “investigating the root cause of this new finding with the full support of Airbus.”

The London City Airport was shut down after a World War II (WW-II) bomb was discovered in the nearby Thames river. All flights have been cancelled. The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has described the alleged and reported Runway 18R burglary attempt on the Cargo Hold of Air Peace as unfounded A statement signed and issued yesterday by the general manager Public Relations of NCAA, Sam Adurogboye said the conclusion was arrived at, after the Regulatory Authority reviewed all the reports from the relevant agencies concerning the incident and it was unproven. Adurogboye explained that "Last week, there were reports that the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of Air Peace Flight no. APK 7138 with Aircraft no. 5N-BUJ had alerted the Lagos Control Tower that the Aircraft's AFT Cargo Compartment has been opened. According to the Pilot in his report to the Tower, he noticed that the Cargo Compartment light came up for 15 seconds and went off. This means someone has opened the compartment's door. The Air Traffic Controller on duty confirmed receiving the report at about 1933hrs (1833GMT).

In line with Standard and Recommended Practices (SARPs), Aviation Security personnel were at the Holding Point of Runway 18R monitoring the departure/take off of both Air Peace and Arik Air aircraft. The PIC alarm triggered an immediate response. The Escort team overtook the Arik aircraft for a more proximate field look and access to the Air Peace Aircraft. "On full speed, with the full lights on, no person(s) was found within the vicinity of the aircraft. Importantly, the Arik aircraft which was on queue immediately after the Air Peace aircraft was similarly put on observation at this point. The Arik Air aircraft also had its full complement of lights on towards the Air Peace aircraft having being aware of his counterpart's conversation with the Tower. With benefit of this full view, neither movement nor any sign of person(s) was sighted around the aircraft". In a swift reacting to NCAA's statement, the management of Air Peace has equally noted that the airline remained unwilling to be drawn into unnecessary controversy with agencies that ought to have been jolted into action from their slumber by patriotic information it gave on the incident.
