ردت النقابة العامة للضٌافة الجوٌة فً مصر ،بغضب على انتقاد نائبة من البرلمان لوزن وسن بعض المضٌفات الالتً ٌعملن لدى شركة الخطوط الجوٌة الوطنٌة، معتبرة أن تصرٌحاتها تصل إلى "التمٌٌز العنصري". وأضافت النقابة فً بٌان أنه من األفضل أن تتوقف النائبة جلٌلة عثمان عن اإلساءة للعاملٌن ومساعدتهم بدال من ذلك على التعامل مع مشاكلهم ،وفق ما ذكرت وكالة أسوشٌٌتد برس. وكانت عثمان قد قدمت طلب إحاطة لوزٌر الطٌران المدنً هذا األسبوع فً البرلمان بشأن سن ومظهر مضٌفات شركة مصر للطٌران. وبررت عثمان طلبها بالقول" :لٌست هناك معاٌٌر .نحتاج إلى فرض زي ووزن معٌن .ال ٌجب أن ٌعملن حتى الوصول إلى سن 50عاما .علٌنا نقلهن إلى وظائف أخرى". وقال البٌان "إذا كانت النائبة الفاضلة ال ترى تمٌٌزا (فً تصرٌحاتها) ضد المرأة، فإن النقابة تدعو سٌادتها إلى التفضل بتنفٌذ اقتراحها أوال داخل مجلس النواب، فهً الواجهة األولى لمصر".

أشاد اإلعالمً عمرو أدٌب ،بالطرٌقة التً ٌتم تأهٌل بها المضٌفات فً موضحا أن مستوى المضٌفات فً مصر لم ٌكن الئ ًقا خالل إحدى الصٌن، ً الفترات ،كما أن الوصول إلى مستوى المضٌفات الصٌنٌات فً مصر أمر صعب -على حد وصفه. وأضاف "أدٌب" ،خالل برنامجه "كل ٌوم" ،ال ُمذاع عبر فضائٌة "ON- " ،Eمساء اإلثنٌن ،أن شركات الطٌران الصٌنٌة تقوم بتدرٌب مضٌفاتها على الحركة واالتزان والقتال لمواجهة اإلرهاب ،مؤكدًا أن مصر للطٌران تملك طاقم من المضٌفات على مستوى عالً من الكفاءة والبد من احترامهن. وكانت النائبة جلٌلة عثمان عضو مجلس النواب طالبت وزارة الطٌران بإعادة تأهٌل المضٌفات واالستغناء عن كبار السن وخاصة أن المضٌفات هن أول من ٌراها الوافد لزٌارة مصر.

قالت النائبة جلٌلة عثمان ،عضو مجلس النواب ،إنها تعرضت لهجوم «غٌر مبرر» لمجرد طلبها االهتمام بمظهر مضٌفات شركة مصر للطٌران. وأضافت «عثمان» ،فً مداخلة لبرنامج «كل ٌوم» ،على قناة «أون إي» ،مساء اإلثنٌن، أنها «لم تقصد اإلساءة للشركة ،ولكنها كانت تهدف لتحسٌن الخدمة» ،مشددة على أن «االهتمام بمظهر المضٌفات عنصر مهم لنجاح الشركة». وطالبت بوجود كوافٌر وماكٌٌر للمضٌفات فً المطار؛ لالهتمام بالمضٌفات قبل الصعود للطائرة ،قائلة« :هل ٌمكن لمذٌعة أن تخرج على الشاشة بدون االهتمام بمظهرها؟ المذٌعة تظهر للناس وكذلك المضٌفة تتعامل مع الركاب». وأشارت النائبة إلى أن «أوزان المضٌفات بقى موضوع مطلق ،محدش بٌحاسب وٌقول ضا على «عدم االهتمام بأطوال الوزن زٌادة أو ناقص» ،مضٌفة أنها اعترضت أٌ ً ً فضال عن الوجبات المقدمة إلٌهم». المضٌفات ،وكذلك أسلوب تعاملهن مع الركاب،

On Sunday evening he said "security information" had caused delays to the passengers’ flights and that both countries were in contact about the measures. "We have met with our brothers in Tunisia about security information that has imposed specific and circumstantial measures," he said. "In the UAE, we are proud of empowering women, we appreciate Tunisian women, and respect them. We should avoid misleading attempts at misinterpretation and misrepresentation," Dr Gargash said.

United Airlines has apologized and given a $500 travel voucher to a passenger who accused the airline of giving her first-class seat to U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, a Houston Democrat. An airline spokeswoman said Monday that its internal systems show the passenger, Jean-Marie Simon, canceled her Dec. 18 seat from Houston to Washington, D.C. after a weather delay. Simon denies that she canceled the flight. She was given a seat in Economy Plus on the flight, and told the Houston Chronicle she saw Jackson Lee sitting in the seat that was assigned to her. United says it upgraded Jackson Lee automatically and not because she was a member of Congress. The congresswoman says in a statement that she didn't ask for anything "exceptional or out of the ordinary."

Indian airlines are expected to induct more than 900 aircraft in the coming years, with IndiGo to add 448 planes alone, according to official data. India is one of the fastest-growing aviation markets in the world and most airlines have ambitious expansion plans, especially to tap the potential on regional routes. According to the data available with the civil aviation ministry, budget airlines such as IndiGo, SpiceJet, GoAir and AirAsia are set to significantly expand their respective fleet sizes.
With an existing fleet of 150 planes, IndiGo is readying to add another 448 aircraft — 399 A320s and 49 ATRs — in the next seven to eight years. SpiceJet, too, is in the process of expanding its current fleet of 57 aircraft. It would be adding 107 B737-800s and 50 Bombardier Q400s during the period from 2018-2023. GoAir, which is yet to take off on overseas routes, would induct 119 A320 planes during the period from 2018-2022. At present, its fleet size is 34.

"The chances of resuming air links with Egypt’s seaside resorts during the winter season are slim. It’s a task to be addressed in the longer perspective. In this particular case, the dates do not depend on us," the minister said. Earlier, Sokolov said Russia’s aviation specialists needed to carry out more checks at the airports of Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh. According to him, Russian experts will need at least one inspection of local airports. At the moment, Russia and Egypt are preparing to resume regular air links suspended in autumn 2015 after a Russian A321 passenger jet owned by the Kogalymavia air carrier (flight 9268) crashed over the Sinai Peninsula. The plane was carrying 217 passengers and seven crew members. The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) said the tragedy was a terrorist attack. On December 15, 2017 Russia and Egypt signed a protocol on cooperation in civil aviation security. Regular flights to Cairo could resume in February 2018, Sokolov said earlier. Egypt’s civil aviation ministry said the planes could already fly on February 1.

http://www.xinhuanet.com Ethiopian Airlines mulls flights to Chongqing ADDIS ABABA, Dec. 25 (Xinhua) -- Ethiopia's national flag carrier Ethiopian Airlines (ET) is mulling flights to Chongqing, a major southwestern Chinese city, an Ethiopian official said on Monday. Speaking to Xinhua, Yared Berta, Regional Director for China, Mongolia and North Korea at ET, said the airlines wants to tap into the increasing demand for passenger and cargo traffic between China and Africa. Chongqing, a city of around 17 million people is a major center for motor vehicle and high value electronics production. Berta also said Ethiopian Airlines wants to attract an increasing number of Chinese tourists to Ethiopia as the East African country seeks to be a top tourism destination in Africa. Ethiopian Airlines currently has five destinations in China, being Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Chengdu and Guangzhou. ET is already preparing to start flights to the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen from June 2018. Shenzhen, in China's Guangdong Province, is home to internationally known high-tech companies including Huawei and ZTE. Ethiopian Airlines became the first African carrier and the fourth in the world to fly to China back in 1973.
