TONS OF GOSPEL LITERATURE DISTRIBUTED HOME TO HOME – VILLAGE TO VILLAGE Please pray for Indonesia. Please pray for Every Home for Christ who has been active in Indonesia for many, many years and continues to do an incredible “job” like distributing 120,000 gospel booklets in one month. Detailed news is not released in our newsletters because of the militant Muslim pressure in Indonesia and the possible danger to the Every Home for Christ workers. Nevertheless, the workers are distributing gospel literature home to home with 120,000 booklets distributed in one month. A pastor in central Java wrote “about 20 years ago, I witnessed that about 5 tons of Every Home for Christ tracts were distributed from home to home. At that time I was the Every Home for Christ voluntary field man to supervise that every home was visited by pioneer missionaries with gospel tracts in their hands.

2

Now I praise the Lord because you ( the EHC team) visited us. I testify that the Lord used the EHC tracts. One of the churches that emerged through the ministry is a church I am now pastoring. Every Home for Christ is welcome to serve among us, training our people to witness, discipling and multiplying. Praise the Lord!

Then there was the unique opportunity in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, to distribute Every Home for Christ gospel tracts at the gigantic stadium where the Reinhard Bonke Evangelistic Campaign was being held. Some 66,050 Christmas and other tracts were distributed to thousands of people who did not know Christ. It was a rare opportunity. Praise the Lord for He opened the door for Every Home for Christ to do this tract distribution giving many thousands of people who did not know Christ but were attracted to the stadium an opportunity to take home with them a written Word of God… And how incredible it is that God uses the spoken word just as powerfully as he uses the written word. After all the “Bible” is God’s written word to us. How powerful is this! Your prayer will bring these gospel tracts alive. Your prayer working together with the Holy Spirit to convict and convert the people who received the tracts that night at the stadium in Jakarta Indonesia will be blessed by the Lord.

Tour Israel with Every Home for Christ October 9th – 23rd 2010

These are going to be powerful days and nights as we meet together in Israel to see the historic places where Jesus lived, where he actually lived on the earth. Imagine that! Together we will be at the Jordan River where Jesus was baptised. Then there will be powerful prayer as we pray together in Jerusalem, the only city in the entire world that God said “I will return … and dwell in Jerusalem…” Zechariah 8:3 and the Psalmist talks about “The Lord…who dwells in Jerusalem” Psalm 135:21. This is a powerful place to pray. We will walk where Jesus walked on the day they crucified Him. We will visit the garden tomb where it is believed that Jesus was buried and rose from the dead. We will stand on the mountain where Jesus stood when he went to Heaven promising to come back. We will be at the place where the Holy Spirit descended on those early disciples on the day of Pentecost giving them “power” to take the Gospel into the entire world. We will trust God to empower us again! Many times I have been in Israel and Jerusalem and there is no place like this… so much to see… so much to impact your life…the Bible coming alive down by the Sea of Galilee and as you walk through the streets of Jerusalem…always you return home with a greater sense that you have come to know so much more about Jesus and the Bible. We will talk about Israel’s powerful spiritual influence and at the same time you will see and feel it for yourself. This is an incredible opportunity for us to be together in the actual location where the Jesus we love once lived. It is a discovery never to be forgotten! I hope you can join us.

Four Christians working in Somalia to provide services to orphans have been executed by beheading by al-Qaida-linked interests who told their families that is the penalty for apostasy. al-Shabaab, an Islamic extremist organisation, claimed responsibility and said the Christians were killed when they refused to renounce their faith in Jesus. The four were beheaded for apostasy. The militant said the families would not even be given the bodies, “as Somalia does not have cemeteries for infidels.” One eyewitness, said, “All the four apostates were given an opportunity to return to Islam to be released but they all declined.” The four Christians had been working for a local non-government organisation that helps orphans in southern Somalia. A Somali church leader who monitors the persecution against the Somali church described the latest beheadings as a desperate attempt to “purify” Somalia by eliminating all Christians from what the al-Qaida-linked terror group considers an Islamic Republic.

8

But the church leader, whose identity was withheld, said such murders will only serve to launch more house churches. The Islamists also killed 6 Somali Christians and beheaded 7 people in the town of Baidoa after accusing them of converting to Christianity. There is also the tragic news about al-Shabaab militants who kidnapped and beheaded 2 boys because their father refused to provide information about a church leader. “I watched my three boys dragged away helplessly as my youngest boy was crying,” said the mother, Batula Ali Arbow. “I knew they were going to be slaughtered.” A short time later, 7-year-old Abdulahi Musa Yusuf came running back to his mother, wailing and crying. Dead were his brothers, a 12-yearold and 11-year-old. The killers were seeking the father, who was gone at the time. He was the leader of an underground church in Yonday village in Somalia before the family fled to a Kenyan camp. It was also reported that al-Shabaab was linked to the stoning execution of a 13-year-old girl. Here is a gospel shop within a yard of Hell.

n 1994 tensions between rival Tutsi and Hutu tribal groups erupted into a bloody genocide that claimed the lives of more than 800,000 people in less than 100 days. The rampage was ignited when the plane carrying Rwanda’s Hutu president, Juvenal Habyarimana, and the president of neighboring Burundi was shot down as it came in for a landing in Kigali. The Tutsi minority was blamed for the attack.

New Hope for a Nation found in the Gospel. Every Home for Christ began mobilizing believers to share the Gospel in Rwanda in 1994. Since then 303,575 families have been reached with Christ’s offer of salvation. EHC Director Ananie Bagaragaza reports that 171,275 people have responded to the Good News, leading to the formation of 84 home

fellowships called Christ Groups. “Many pastors are reporting that their churches are growing as a result of our home-to-home strategy,” Ananie said. “Continue to pray for our frontline workers and their attempts to reach very remote areas, especially where there are no existing churches. Pray for transportation to reach these areas

Military and militia groups began slaughtering ethnic Tutsis and Hutu moderates, wiping out entire villages and executing families of people who were even suspected of being Tutsi sympathizers. The horrors of the conflict planted seeds of hatred and fear in the hearts of millions, but also created a pressing need for love and forgiveness that can only be

and also for their protection and continued zeal.” In addition to distributing gospel literature, Ananie and his teams are showing the Jesus film and ministering to children. A pilot outreach to preschool children in Kigali earned the praises of teachers, parents and local civic leaders. Many parents who brought their children to school stayed to hear Bible stories and learn from God’s Word. “Children were happy to receive the powerful Word of God,” said a teacher in Gashiha named Sidone. “Some parents said they didn’t realize how much God values children. They saw this as a revival because they were not used to seeing people come to them and assemble the children in this way. Local authorities were also happy because we were assembling all children including street children, and they saw that the program had a positive impact. It is wonderful when God’s servants obey Jesus’ command not to reject the children.”

ortuguese and Spanish explorers brought the first hints of Christianity to the region that would become Chile, beginning in the 1500s. When Chile declared independence from Spain in 1810, the Catholic Church was established as the state sponsored religion. Protestants were prohibited from practising their faith, but evangelicals continued to increase in numbers until all religions were granted equal rights in 1925. Chile has been a fertile ground for EHC evangelism, yielding 44,551 responses to the Gospel and prompting the formation of 3,242 Christ Group fellowships. “The Gospel is moving forward in our country,” said EHC Director Victor Stuardo. “More than 3,200 Christ Groups have been started and gospel workers are successfully conducting follow-up ministry.” Churches have come together to support a major EHC campaign in the capital city of Santiago. “Praise the Lord for the 300 churches involved in the evangelization

project for metro Santiago,” Director Stuardo said. “This is a prophetic act of unity in our country. Praise the Lord for all the pastors involved in the EHC campaign. Churches are uniting in these days, just one Body of Christ doing God’s work and teaching His Word to everyone, everywhere in the nation of Chile.” In a special outreach, EHC is working in cooperation with hospital chaplains to minister to patients, using gospel literature and Bible-study materials. Chaplains are also allowed to minister to physicians and hospital staff. “Thank the Lord for all the miracles that are taking place in the hospitals where His Word of hope and healing is given to the sick, hospital workers,

visitors, and by extension to their families,” Director Stuardo said. EHC is also ministering to inmates in local prisons. Believers recently shared the Gospel with 300 inmates at the Colina Prison Centre. Twenty men accepted Jesus as Saviour. Victor’s concern for young people has prompted EHC outreaches in schools and

universities. “Pray for schools that have opened their doors to the Gospel. In our country youth are subject to violence through the media that makes them rebellious and arrogant. May the Lord open new doors in many more schools.” Believers are free to share the Gospel, but forces of spiritual darkness still mount opposition. Following a successful EHC outreach in the city of Casablanca, occult leaders in the community called for a witch to bless the land. “Let’s stand together against evil forces that are always trying to oppose God’s plan,” Victor said. “We declare that the Good News will be preached in every home, resulting in an amazing harvest.”
