We are in the midst of the holiday season, and I am sure that you still have many events to go to (not to mention New Year’s parties) and that you like dressing up to get into the festive mood.

With your social calendar in melt-down, you will certainly want to look and feel your best. Even though men are under less pressure than women to keep up with fashion trends, it’s still important to look stylish, and smart, when you attend that party or function at this time of year.

There are so many styles and colours to choose from, you can go as festive or as formal as you want. So it’s time to embrace your inner festive child, and start shopping and bopping, giving in to the madness of it all.

We can start with jumpers, and there are many of them about, but if you buy a really stylish one, of good quality, it can last a long time. So the key words are style and quality.

Because this time of year is all about celebrations, and getting out and about with family and friends, you will more than likely be concentrating on evening wear. A good quality casual shirt will always be a winner at any party, and these days there are so many fabrics, styles, and range of colours to choose from, that you will be

spoiled for choice.

Smart casual trousers never go out of fashion, so this kind of purchase is never a waste of money. Be sure to pick a colour and style that will suit a range of looks, and where you can mix and match to look like you have more outfits than you actually have!

You will definitely want to have a stylish, smart, jacket or blazer to finish off the festive look this season. A blazer, in a neutral colour, can enhance any fashion look, and can be worn at any function, any time of the year.

It’s the season to show off your style and personality, so don’t be afraid to mix it up and experiment a little. Even larger men have a choice these days!

You can go formal too, and complete the look with a tux, or a stylish velvet jacket and bow-tie, if you dare.

Whatever look or style you go for this season, I hope you enjoy the festivities and have a healthy and prosperous New Year!
