CAMPUS FOR UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE
CAMPUS FOR UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE
The project was meant as an answer to the range of functions held by the University of Architecture located in different areas of the city without a direct link between them. I chose a site in Bucharest in an area proposed for remodeling of an industrial site into a campus for students and teachers architects. The site is situated 20 min walking distance from University located in the centre of the capital and is accesible by subway, public transport, The site is located in a student area of the capital, with many universities in 20 minutes walk from downtown, in an area accessible by metro, public transport, a road junction. In the main building I chose to create an interior atrium used as an exhaust for the used air and also as a source of natural light for interior space. The central building is the core of the whole students ensemble, with public spaces, also temporary housing for 130 architects, visiting professor or graduate scholars. The building is organized on the ground floor and three floors, approximately 12,000 sq m and has a number of functions as: foyer, bistro, café, terrace, commercial field, small architecture offices, conferences hall, video room, studios, apartments, library magazines, study room, physical model making room,

NEOCLASSICAL GUSTAVIAN STYLE
LUXURY FURNITURE SHOWROOM
LUXURY FURNITURE SHOWROOM Project presents a conversion of old warehouse into a showroom for unique luxury furniture presented in a historical style, before 1900. Interior space, 630 square meters, is organized with individual functions, administrative - reception area, office, conference room, circulation space with exposure - sampling, furniture, exposure windows, 3 specific room style - a salon, bedroom, bathroom, which mimic the original layout gustavian neoclassical style. Neoclassical three rooms are connected in an individual exposure route, as a house to house, whose exterior is also completed original neoclassical houses. Basically, the client has first contact with the historical style of the entrance when the current goes past into a stylzed street from time to before 1900. Organizational space is minimal in style, like a semi-transparent glass box to create a contrast effect between present and past value. SHOWROOM PLAN/ CLIENTS ROUTE

LUXURY FURNITURE SHOWROOM
LIGHTING PROJECT DESIGN
LUXURY FURNITURE SHOWROOM Initial project goal was to achieve a given space-hall area 625mp, with total height of 10ml, with 5.20ml beams to limit exposure inside a space to sell for furniture, decoration objects ornaments, wall, in a style chosen before 1900.
In lighting design is required special attention to the nature of space, color rendering, and more precisely the spectrum of light emitted by lamps, style, lighting design, creating points of interest and accents, control systems and lighting scenarios, and not least to avoid glare and flare.

SOLAR ARCHITECTURE
HOLIDAY GREEN HOUSE
SOLAR ARCHITECTURE HOLIDAY GREEN HOUSE Why geodesic dome? Is energy efficient Is the smallest area for a given
volume, so it has low heat loss.
Ergonomic shape and compact
because it performs very well in areas with strong winds or storms.
Installation is easy. Self-supporting structure does not require other supporting elements.
Partially free offers more freedom in planning
The structure is made of wood. The cells formed triangular-photovoltaic panels are mounted, sandwich panels made of wooden panels with thermal insulation layer of hemp on the inside - Low E glass - prefabricated wooden panels with holes fretted glass.

JAPANESE GARDEN
JAPANESE GARDEN Japanese garden is the representation of the universe: fire, light poles, the earth-shaped stone and water, air, plants and animals in their natural forms. LONGITUDINAL SECTION - GARDEN
Stones form the structure of a Japanese garden. rugged rocks suggest the mountain and river stones are used in or along riverbanks. These elements are symbolic and less realistic. Water (Mizu) is a customary component. water reminiscent of the passage of time. path or bridge passing over the water symbolizes the journey. Bridges are symbols of the passage from one world to another, a theme that is found throughout Japanese art.
TRANSVERSAL SECTION - GARDEN
There is usually an island in the middle of the lake or river in the garden, which is the island of eternal life or a quiet place ,,Nirvana, outside time and space.

SCENOGRAPHY PROJECT
THEATRE FOR 2 PLAYS
SCENOGRAPHY PROJECT THEATRE FOR 2 PLAYS This project is about Act Theatre in Bucharest; scenography for two plays, one for children and other dedicated adults. I chose Spirited Away and Memoirs of a Geisha.
Scene is actually a podiummounted removable metal structure with a length of 750 cm stands with lamps inside Japan, shoji modular panels 30x60cm, Color and light are the most important factor in creating dramatic scenery effect. PALIMPSEST- parchement BUTOH- dance shadows
Are two sources of inspiration that helped choose shoji panels as a method of expression in experimental theater. Main perspective is composed of three panels ,,PALIMPSEST” with shoji paper, behind which the actors dance numbers ,,BUTOH” spectator is absorbed by shadows created by light sources behind the actors. Corners of the room are also two
other sites show the light/shadow. THEATRE HALL IN PRESENT

PHYSICAL DEGRADATION
The site is in the old central area of the capital, considered to be of great importance to the historical heritage of the city. It will incorporate new uses such as workshops, gallery, library, accomodation and commercial spaces.
ANTHROPIC DEGRADATION
Due to low maintenance and the passage of time the present condition of the building is almost critical. One important characteristic is the proximity of the building to the park, it can easily be perceived as a tourist attraction.
To support the metal roof we proposed a independent steel structure so as not to affect the structure of transverse walls, cracked pretty bad. Thus, besides the existing steel beams, covering system will support the ends of the hall on a metal structure that discharge efforts directly into the foundations.
CHEMICAL DEGRADATION
BIOLOGICAL DEGRADATION
To revitalize the building offer a creative workshops, cultural function, evidenced by the building structure independent modules stained with different colors
Intervention is reversible, does not affect in any way building stability either visual perception of space. Contrast material, shape and color is meant to emphasize the classical architecture of the plant, With contrasting materials, shape and color is meant to emphasize the classical architecture of the plant and emphasize the playful side of the proposed function, cultural function- creative workshops as: collage, drawing, painting, sculpture, modeling, pottery.

Following the character of the entire old centre of the city, the corniche line is vibrated and forms an irregular profile but one of the requirements was to make an addition to the building with two levels. The interior is characterized by simple lines and colors with an official character, wood veneer, semi-transparent glass, stainless steel, leather, furniture mainly provided by Poltrona Frau. Semi-basement - store room, archive, boiler room, small kitchen, photocopy room Ground floor- reception, waiting room, office, bathroom First floor - office trainee, 2 office rooms Second floor- two partners offices, meeting room, library, functional spaces Terrace.

HOUSE AND COMMERCIAL SPACE
RESIDENTIAL ARCHITECTURE HOUSE AND COMMERCIAL SPACE
Project’s theme is home to the city, which is the beneficiary a family of four. Land is located in a small space, located between two other buildings with classic character, a commercial street in the ground floors. Beneficiary owns a small business, therefore wanted a little space for display and sale of small art objects. Another feature of the house was a need for a special painting workshop located in the attic. The facade is a mondrian-like composition, made out of colored perforated metal sheets, that have the role to filter the light, keeping the heat outside walls while still allowing light inside. Also a feature of the subdivision was to create a home interior courtyard that allow natural lighting and ventilation of spaces. Ground floor - commercial space, interior courtyard, dining, kitchen, windfang, boiler room, garage, hall First floor - living room, office, bedroom, dressing, bathroom, Attic - 2 bedrooms, painting workshop, bathroom
