How about the movie titles? Marvel Comics is an American company that publishes comic books and related media. The font used for it is very similar to Benton Sans Extra Comp Black designed by Cyrus Highsmith and Tobias Frere Jones. The logo of Marvel Comics is simply its logotype portrayed in white on a red background. The theme of Marvel Comics of a powerful hero, which conveys a striking image in the title and is consistent in all titles through.
Silver screen movies I imagine that many people think of white handwritten typefaces as a typeface for a silver screen movie. I was one of them and surprised to find out that there are many colorful titles. Movies are ofcourse in black and white as well as white handwritten subtitles basically, however the titles are often Gothic and colorful as you can see some of famous Audrey Hepburn movies.
Typeface effect Horror movie titles require a typeface that makes everyone’s blood run cold at the first sight. As a human psychology, the red color is reminding blood and danger, therefore the red color and red title made of scars are often used. However, some horror titles are interesting to look at, some have their own ways that can cause fear, regardless to read you can feel fears.
