Explored the local culture as well as local materials and construction methods in Kenya. The workshop was part of the Volunteer Doctors Cyprus action and the proposal will be constructed during the following year. Exhibition | Site Effects – 22 proposals | Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, Athens, Greece https://www.snfcc.org/visitors-center/events/2015/10/site-effects-%E2%80%93-22-proposals/ Participated in the exhibition with a project that investigated the impact of Renzo Piano’s project at the Faliron Bay area. 2nd Honorable Praise | 1st Competition of Innovative Ideas and Projects for Sustainability in the City of Athens | NTUA Employment and Career Structure The project entitled ‘Building block: autonomous energy, social and digital unit’ focused on the development of free spaces in the Athenian apartment building(greek polykatoikia). The study initially involved the building as a unit and later on was extended in the whole building block, creating a network of spatial and digital communication among the tenants. All NTUA students, undergraduate - graduate – PhD Candidates, as well as NTUA graduates of the last 5 years were eligible.

The folk mouseum is located in Kefalari, a small village near Nafplio. The village is known for waterfalls, nature and religious tourism. The museum, constitutes part of a local restaurant‘s basement, whose the owners have love of the tradition and the folklore. In 2013 they decited to renovate it and share treir collection with the public. The first study was complited in December 2013 and apllied for fundation by the European Program LEADER. The implemantation started four years later in June 2017.

Ikiotita has a double meaning, as a greek word comes from the word oikos which means home. Meanwhile kio - ta in Suahili means nest. As a design group first of all we had to study and understant the different culture and social life from the human aspect t and the industrial materials and the typologies of building in Kenya from the architectural aspect. The challenge was to design a familiar and friendly place inside the perimetric walls which should be flexible in future extensions.

Kaiafas lake is located in western Peloponnese, south Greece and is a protected area natura 2000. Nowadays, it is a neglected, disturbed landscape (pineforest, wetlands, mountain, seaside) including thermal springs facilities and abandoned hotels . The area is suffering from serious problems such as pollution, illegal hunting, fires and general human abuse (water ski, motor cross, agricultural forces). Section A-A
Goal A sustainable environmental landmark so the area can be visited all year round (currently the facilities are in use only in the summer)keeping both landscape and the build environment alive and intact.
