METAL BENDING MACHINES
Young people are creative, if you allow them to be – why limit the material used in education to cardboard, glue and color? Students are like sponges that absorb information and new experiences benefiting from this knowledge their whole lives, but it has to be presented and “packaged” in a sufficiently interesting way. You, as a teacher, know this only too well. If you intend to teach students basic principles for clear design and technical comprehension, and you allow them to achieve their own experiences in this area, then this is not only “Practical learning”, but also has sustainable impact on them long term to be future engineers.
FOR SCHOOLS & TRAINING
“Students can easily learn how to use the tools within a short time.” “No matter what their individual skills and competence are, they can make consistent forms and products without producing scrap.” “The machines´ levers have been highly optimized so that even physically weak students can use the machines.” “Motivation is so high and effective that even students without any technical pre-skills enjoy working with the machines.” “The machines encourage students to learn and work.”
Employing EISENKRAFT® in handicraft lessons, the tools allow students to see how efficient their designs are and give them an instant sense of achievement. Starting a project e.g. a candleholder, in autumn, and finishing it for Christmas: therefore not only technical interest is necessary. Students are also motivated by achieving a good and individual design. This combined with the wish to produce something handmade on their own, which they can then give to someone as a present.

SCROLL FORMER
max. working capacity Scroll forming with F 2/3: …Open out the segments and push the flat, square or round material into the centre segment. Fix with the locking bar and rotate the “T – handle” clockwise with both hands. The material is drawn into the scroll former and a perfect scroll is formed. Forming scrolls can be so easy! To reproduce a scroll, put the colored, magnetic triangles or a simple mark on the segment and the base. For tubes with an exterior diameter up to 10 mm and a bending radius of 50 mm use the tube bending components.

An ancillary transmission brings the power to the shaft – with this power you can even form scrolls out of steel bars with a square cross section up to 16 x 16 mm, without the need of pre-heating of the material in a forge. A locking bar – such as for the F 2/3 – enables to fix perfectly work pieces with forged ends. Flat material up to 40 x 8 mm can be formed. Normally, such heavy working processes are only done by a pro in the industrial sector. The Scroll Former does not consume a lot of space and is firmly fixed with three screws on the work bench.

PRAKTIKER R/B/R ROLLING ANGLE BENDING RIVETING • Easy to use. • Three functions • No need for pre-heating of the material! • Riveting – an easy & safe alternative to welding
ROLLING ROLLING: This is an essential and important function in metalwork. The rolling function enables the production of circles and arcs of any radius. Simply place the material between the side rollers and the winding handle, the pressure applied on the winding handle will determine the radius of the rolled circle or arc.
ANGLE BENDING RIVETING
ANGLE BENDING: Place flat, square or round material between the angle bending block and the side rollers. The pressure applied on the lever determines the angle of the bend. Max. angle = 90°! RIVETING: Corresponding to the length of the rivets, the working pieces are pressed between the riveting blocks in order to guarantee highest strength. Even children can easily rivet work pieces by applying pressure on the lever.
RIVETING: EISENKRAFT® provides a safe and traditional way of joining metalwork firmly and professionally together! A perfect ALTERNATIVE to WELDING

MEISTER MC 5/2 5 FUNCTIONS IN ONE TOOL
ROLLING
This tool is one of the most important and at the same time most versatile tools in our program. Cutting, Punching, Riveting, Rolling & Bending, five essential operations in one tool. No compromises have been made by us in the quality and tooling of this fantastic combination. To make a tool that looks the same is easy, but to make a tool that works as well as this remains our secret.
RIVETING
Riveting: With MC 5/2 in horizontal operation position you connect parts between the rivet blocks. By exerting pressure on the main handle, there is so much power that you can easily and stably press rivets with a diameter up to 6 mm and a length up to 30 mm. Angle bending: With the MC 5/2 in horizontal operating position you can bend angles up to 60° depending on the position of the angle bending block. The pressure exerted on the handle determines the degree of an angle. Rolling: The rolling device allows you to form curves or to roll circles of any radius. The pressure exerted on the main handle determines the radius of a curve or circle.
PUNCHING
ANGLE BENDING

Cutting: With the MC 5/2 in vertical operating position you cut flat, round or square material. While cutting, a fixing screw holds the material in a horizontal position in order to get a perfect result.
CUTTING
Punching: For connecting the ornamental elements with rivets, holes are to be punched into the material. An adjustable platform helps to keep the holes on the centre line of the bars. Standard hole diameter is 5 mm and 6 mm - we offer optional punch blocks for hole diameters of 3 mm and 4 mm for riveting 3 or 4 mm rivets.

TWISTING
PRAKTIKER PT
As well as scrolls as components of wrought iron work, twisted steel bars are a subtle ornament that can also contribute to the character of this métier. With both of our twisters, PT as well as MT 2/2 you can twist steel bars over their full length or only individual sections. For long lengths of twist that exceed the length of the machine, the bar has to be twisted section by section. The levers of both machines, PT and MT 2/2, are long enough to handle the indicated material dimensions. Furthermore, with the MT 2/2 you can make ornamental “baskets”!

Twist square and flat steel and give them an exclusive touch by adding decorative baskets. For easier basket making we recommend to anneal the pre-welded square bars before with the forge (FO). Baskets can be made with square or round bars (6 mm and 8 mm).
MEISTER EM EMBOSSING – HAMMERING – END FORGING – BENDING ON THE EDGE – SQUARE & ROUND TUBE BENDING – ANGLE BENDING... To make your work really look like traditional “wrought iron” but done COLD, WITHOUT HEATING! Counterweights in the handles and a special power thread in the main spindle produce enormous power. Gaining advantage from the centrifugal mass transmitted through the handles and using the pressing devices, the work piece is embossed or hammered. Using the tube bending adapters you can bend square and round tubes to arcs or rings, bend flat bars on the edge without preheating, bend T or angular profiles..... with its variety of adapters and pressing devices the EM tool is a perfect, complementary tool to the MEISTER and PRAKTIKER series.
Pressing devices for hammering and end forging
Bend round arcs out of T- profiles and corner profiles ( 35 mm x 35 mm)
For endforging first heat the ends of the material. No problem with our gas forge (MEISTER FO) achieving temperatures up to 1200°!
Bend round arcs out of square tubes for using as frames for window grills or gates, bending flat bars on the edge for handrails of stair railings. (35 mm x 35 mm) (Flat bars on the edge 40 mm x 8 mm)

PRODUCTIVE PROJECTS Our philosophy is as follows: “The quality of the products made in a workshop depends on the quality of the training given to the people working there.” For this reason, we offer our customers not only a set of tools, but also a series of courses in modules, which contribute to the success and productivity of an EISENKRAFT® workshop and to the perfect training of the operators. The three sections of our PRODUCTIVE PROJECTS perfectly meet the needs to successfully create a workshop of non-conventional forging.
MODULE A
MODULE B
MODULE C
• EISENKRAFT® TOOLS: the 7 tools – all complementary with each other – form the heart of a PRODUCTIVE PROJECT.
• TEACHING EISENKRAFT® TOOLS: the EISENKRAFT® technicians train the participants following a clear and easy to understand method. They learn everything necessary for using the equipment (installation, handling, maintenance, preventive maintenance). The training is “learning by doing.”
• ELECTRIC WELDING – BASIC LEVEL: In general, approx. 90 % of all connections of different materials are made with rivets and only a small part is welded. For example, angular profiles or square bars are welded and this requires a basic knowledge in electric welding which is taught at this stage of the training.
• BASIC INSTRUCTION – ORNAMENTAL: This part of the course transmits knowledge and abilities of forging in general and gives essential information about different working techniques in this sector.
• CAD – BEND ART OS TRAINING: The BEND ART OS data base helps EISENKRAFT® users to create and design the following items with the computer: grilles, doors, parts of furniture and various applications. Based on a software “Open Source”, you will get explanations on how to design, reproduce and calculate dimensions of your designs and works with the help of your PC.
• WORKSHOP EQUIPMENT: to make the workshop complete, you would be advised to have some additional tools. We offer a list of these tools from simple chisel up to electric wire welding equipment.
• ORGANIZATION OF THE WORKSHOP: For the perfect functioning of a workshop, it is important that the tools are correctly located and fixed on the work benches as well as in the room where you intend to install the project. This guarantees a logical and efficient working process. • BASIC DESIGNS: At this training level, the participants are already familiar with EISENKRAFT® and start to feel like a “blacksmith”. Following patterns they create their first designs, such as flower or candle holders. Working with our technicians, the participants also develop their first own designs.
• COATING – PAINTING - FINISHING: The final touch of every work depends mainly on the finishing and materials used for this process. How to apply a weather and corrosion resistant coating, how to give your work an antique touch, how to paint your works, a.s.o. All this is explained in this phase of the training. • MARKETING TECHNIQUES: What the participants have learned up to now is put into practice and constitutes a base for dealing with the subject of MARKETING. The base for a successful commercial activity is e.g. the good organization of the administrative part of the business, a presentation of the company’s abilities, a correct cost calculation of the finished product, how to make a quotation to the client, calculate costs, and also how to determine profit margins, a.s.o. All this is taught by our technicians, thanks to their wide experience.
