Packaging and Promotion SPARKS Energy Drink McKenzie River Corporation
McKenzie River needed a strong packaging concept for their new vodkabased energy drink, SPARKS, which was to enter the market against competitors such as Red Bull. I created and designed the packaging theme of the battery,
suggesting electricity and the energy contained within. This theme lent itself to a wide range of promotions, helping SPARKS launch quickly in 33 states. Recognized in Print and How Magazine for packaging.

When viewed from the front, the words on the back of the bottle magnify as the bottle is rotated. The words support the uniqueness of the FLO brand.
Logo and Packaging Design FLO (First Liquid Obsession)
Following extensive market research and testing, FLO was in need of a reconsidered brand presence and packaging. Market research suggested targeting the niche of women ages 20–35. With the sophistication of the glass bottle and
unique, simple packaging, the shelf appeal was designed to promote impulse purchases. The logo was refined from its original state and several packaging options were presented.

This concept uses a self-contained FLO logo. Circles printed at different opacities and transparencies create a fun, clean pattern. The logos are printed clear, allowing a variety of textures, imagery, or funny variable text messaging to show through in a keyhole-like effect.

Aquis homepage
Interactive Flash Website Aquis
Aquis is a revolutionary drink designed to quickly hydrate endurance athletes. The website suggests motion and hydration with large, colorful images of active people and obscure water imagery.
A simple quadrant-divided homepage allows the user to access any of the four main sections quickly, and numerous rollovers make the site fun and interactive.

Product Graphics and Packaging Green Machine Huffy Bicycles
Huffy, one of the most familiar consumer brands in the world, continues to be a leader in product innovation and development. The relaunch of the Green Machine, a classic from the 1970s, required a fresh rebirth with strong and
aggressive graphics and packaging. I was responsible for the creative direction, design of product graphics and packaging, organizing the photoshoot, and final production.
Various Logo Designs Huffy Bicycles
Logo design for various bicycle names and product feature callouts. Each logo has its own personality, designed for a specific age, gender, and lifestyle demographic.
Ambigram Graphics and Advertising Huffy BMX Bicycles
I was challenged to develop a new graphic theme for Huffy freestyle bikes. My solution was to add an element of surprise to traditional graphics through the development of ambigrams, logos identical when flipped 180 degrees.
In addition, I created the theme ‘Downside Up’ for a series of print ads, visually relating the upside down riding action of the bicycles to the versatility of the featured graphics.

Online Game Logos National Cinemedia
To support the launch of a new media website, National Cinemedia developed online games to draw in the teenage and college demographic. I was brought in on contract to create logos and establish the graphic direction for the games.
Blingman: A spinoff of the classic Hangman, guessing a wrong letter removes one piece of bling from the gangster character. It’s Who You Know: A game similar to the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. Scene-A-Majig: A puzzle game to construct famous scenes from movies.
Cipher Circle Ambigram Logo National Cinemedia
To correspond with the movie release of the Dan Brown novel, Angels & Demons, an online game called Cipher Circle was developed. Charged with developing
the logo for the game, I created it as an ambigram in the style of those from the original novel.
