TEOTIHUACÁN This UNESCO World Heritage Site is an hour bus ride from Mexcio City. Built around 100 BC. It was sacked around 550 AD. The Aztecs called this ancient marvel the “Birthplace of the GODS”.

MOVIE TRIVIA Dream “getaway” location shown in the film, Shawshank Redemption. The scene was filmed at Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge on St Croix, UVI.
FISHING VILLAGE The heart of this easy going town is the waterfront walkway Paseo del Pescador. Restaurants line the beach and are a fantastic place to grab a bite to eat in the evening and enjoy the sunset.

Ixtapa is a government-planned tourist destination located on the Pacific Coast. Formally home to coconut plantations and a mangrove estuary it is now home to luxury oceanfront hotels and chain restaurants.

PICTURESQUE Located in the Mexican state of Guerrero. Taxco was named one of Mexico’s “Pueblos Mágicos” (Magical Towns) due to the quality of the silverwork, the colonial architecture and the surrounding scenery. The entire town is a national historical monument.
SILVERWORK The town is heavily associated with silver, both with the mining of it and other metals and for the crafting of it into jewelry.
