Spirulina- Coconut Snacks
Ingredients: 3 cups shredded coconut (organic, unsweetened) 3 apples 5-6 large dried white figs (Calimyrna) ¼cup organic spirulina powder
Preparation: 1. In a food processor, mix cored apples and figs 2. Mix coconut and spirulina powder in a separate bowl, then add the apple-fig mixture. 3. Roll into small balls and then flatten, to make a round, flat cookie 4. Place these “rounds” into a dehydrator at about 105 degrees. Continue drying until cookie is chewy (not too soft; not too hard).
