M Pavillion
The M Pavillion project is one where structure, tectonic, and programing elements were introduced and combined to create a space. The space is activated by light and shadow, modulated like a canopy. The design frames views toward the water feature and provides a creative composition of seating elements that can be occupied in a variety of ways. The structure functions both as a tectonic object within the landscape as well as a memorable space to be occupied and enjoyed.
Rooftop Pavillion
A design focused on open but enclosed space for people to navaigate through, experience different views from each angle. The choice of having a filtered roof so peo ple are expriencing views of the sky, and weather conditions like rain. The pavillion demonstartes easy circulation for people on the inside. Throughout this pavillion people get different elements of nature, enjoying the nature surrounding the pavillion, and the buildings around campus.
Modular Units
Designing a series of modular units as a group, exploring repetitive units and the part to a whole relationship created through the aggregation of multiple units system. Working with many modules and exploring different iterations, the final design concluded with a display of the same module, rotated and connected to other units that created an abstract form of modules.
Emblematic Stage
The Emblematic Stage Model was an excrise related to the body armature. To express the movement and style of my body armature, I chose to model a stage set that represents the circular movement that my body would propose. Creating the design, I connected it with the idea that I am tied to these ropes and at the same time I am moving freely in circular motion.
Body Armature
The Body Armature is an exercise where different styles, concepts, and elements of design were expressed. To restrict the movement of the waist and knees, the design had sacks of rocks wrapped each respective area. I made the choice of using this type of fabric and different patterns to define the area of restriction. Then I added these fabric strips that flow in an ironic way with no restreictions.
100+1 Project involved creating a design of One hundred pieces of an item by figuring out how to stitch them together with a different object or by stitching the item together with itself. Working with different objects, and creating different itterations the problems I faced were how to connect these objects together to create a design. The conclusion I came to in my final design was to use the object itself as the stitch.
