Type WL
TROX VARYCONTROL庐 air heaters type WT, WL and EL have been developed to reheat air in ventilation systems.
The heating source is provided by means of a pumped hot water heating system (WT and WL) or electricity (EL).
The air heaters are suitable for installation in circular or rectangular ducts, the heater units are sized to fit both the ducts and the TROX VARYCONTROL庐 VAV equipment.
The customer is responsible for the installation of the air heater, heating output control and the supply connections.
To meet the hygiene requirements of VDI 6022, access to the air heaters is essential to enable cleaning and if necessary disinfection. Suitable access openings must be provided between the air terminal unit and the air heater or adjacent to the air heater. WT for TVZ: WT for TVJ and EN: WL for TVR and RN: EL for TVR and RN:

– Suitable for circular connecting ducts to DIN EN 1506 or DIN EN 13180, for TVR and RN – Connecting spigots at each end complete with lip seals – Heating elements stainless steel, 1.4541 – Overheat protection (manual or auto reset), fully wired to terminal box, screw terminal block for electrical connections – Installation in horizontal or vertical ducts, choice of terminal box location, top or side – 230 VAC single-phase (nominal size 100 to 200), 400 VAC two-phase (nominal size 250) or 400 VAC three-phase (nominal size 315 and 400), IP43 protection level – Minimum air flow velocity 1.5 m/s – Maximum rated outlet temperature 40 °C – Casing air leakage complies with DIN EN 1751, class C
