The buyer’s premium is 25 percent of the final bid price up to and including $500,000, and 10 percent of the final bid price over $500,000. We accept checks, cash, money orders, wire transfers and major credit cards for payment. Credit cards can only be used for up to $5,000 of the invoice total and the card must have a U.S. billing address. Bidders holding a Massachusetts or out-of-state resale number must provide the certificate or copy thereof when registering to bid or otherwise will be required to pay 6.25% Massachusetts sales tax on purchases. Items picked up in or shipped to Connecticut are subject to 6.35% Connecticut sales tax. Residents of other states may be subject to state and local sales taxes. JAPANESE FINELY CARVED IVORY SHRINE/ZUSHI Meiji Period, 19th Century Cylindrical, the top with four applied ruyi around the edge and a central openwork knop encasing a seated oni holding a lotus flower. Rounded doors with raised lohan decoration on the exterior and incised lotus decoration in a black wash on the interior.
