Smell the wood.

Leek and Potato Soup: -Saute clean leeks in butter for 30 minutes -Add peeled potatoes and good stock or water (½- ½) -Simmer until they fall apart, then hand blend until smooth -add salt, pepper, chives to taste -Thin it out if needed -Nice with yogurt


Breathe in through your nose. Hold. Open your mouth like you’ re fogging a mirror. Breathe out through your mouth. Hold. Repeat.

Rural landscapes always remind me of home. Something about walking on a giant patchwork quilt that my mom sewed.


ROAST IT! Make veggies delicious. 1.Hot Oven (450 F) 2.Fats (Olive oil, coconut oil, bacon grease etc.) 3.GARLIC. 4.Fresh chopped herbs (Thyme, rosemary, oregano, etc.) 5. A pinch of cayenne for spice 6. Sea salt and pepper 7. Fresh lemon juice at the end of the roast, then pop it back in the oven.
