It took me a while to properly get into the swing of the design brief for this project. Although the design rules appear to be fairly simple, they are actually far more complicated and difficult to stick to than I first imagined. This meant that it took me a long time to be able to properly get into the style of the piece. These were the first designs where I really began to move towards effective designs.
For me, one of the hardest elements has been the creative writing element to create the voice over. I have the story in my head, and I know how I wish it to be expressed, however actually putting this into words which work as a voice over is incredibly diďŹƒcult. Following feedback, this is something I temporarily moved away from in order to develop the multimedia aspect of the piece.
These are some of the initial storyboard frames that I drew, however following a discussion with the tutors, I decided for more of a collage approach than a narrative one, so I moved away from this storyline progression and towards something a little more experimental.
