Eenie, meenie, miney, moe HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR ELECTRA The only hard part about riding an Electra is choosing which one to get. They’re all easy to ride and they look amazing. So take your time to figure out which one is perfect for you. We have multiple collections with different models within each line. Here are a few things to consider that will help you while you peruse. STYLE As important as anything. It’s got to be love at first sight. ATTIRE There is no dress code, but if you’re biking in pants or a long skirt you might want a chainguard and fenders. COMFORT We pride ourselves on having some of the most comfy bikes around. Even the sporty ones feel good, but some are more laid back than others. THINGS TO CARRY Laptop, groceries, surfboard? We’ve got racks, baskets and bags to help you out. TIRES The 26” are all-purpose and cushy, while the 700c are faster-rolling road tires. Also check out the balloon tires for even more shock absorption. GEARS You have a lot of options from the number of gears to the type of system (internal vs derailleur). Learn more on the GEARING OPTIONS page of the TECHNICAL section on electrabike.com. There are no rules. But if you keep these things in mind it will help you focus in on the bike that is tailor -made for you. Whether you ride every day or go for long journeys on the weekend, the Ticino will handle it in comfort and style. Named for an Italianinfluenced area of Switzerland, Ticino’s design aesthetic, craftsmanship and frame integrity are inspired by the vintage Randonneur-type bikes once ridden throughout the region. Stylistically, Ticino picks up where bike builders of the ‘40s and ‘50s left off with its retro-inspired hubs, cranksets, chainrings, tourist handlebars, forks, pedals and rims. But this thing is far from a relic. When it comes to performance, the Ticino is decked out with the latest custom Electra components and will hold its own against other sporty rides with fast-rolling 700c wheels, a lightweight frame and a host of drivetrains from single to 20-speed. The innovative design was first developed in 2003 and applied to Electra Townie® and 20” Kids’ bicycles and is now featured on the Electra Cruiser and Amsterdam® collections. Flat Foot Technology® gives you proper leg extension for efficient pedaling and the ability to put your feet on the ground at any time for control and stability. The unique design also allows adjustability to fit various-sized riders within one frame size.
