Have you visited a Cat Café yet? No? What on earth are you waiting for?! Furry cuteness and good coffee awaits!

For the uninitiated, cat cafés are cafés but … with cats. It’s pretty much exactly what it sounds like. You order coffee at the beginning of your visit, then enter a room filled with furry rascals, cat toys, and cat related accessories where you can pet cats while sipping your drink. Originating in Taiwan and popularized in Japan, the cat café trend has swept North America over the past few years.

Not only are cat cafés a fun idea on principal but visits can often be therapeutic for animal lovers. Who doesn’t want to unwind with a kitty sitting in their lap? If you fall in love with a cat, you’re in luck! Many cat cafés are supplied cats from local rescue organizations and those cats are up for adoption. It’s a great way to find your new best friend and support fostered cats!
