Business Lessons, Upcoming Trade Shows & Tax Day Humor As I was on vacation last week (trying to warm up from our frigid Minnesota winter) I came across an article that posed the following question to all business and business owners. What one business lesson did you learn the hard way? I found ten of the responses interesting and thought you might too... 10. You can’t do everything on your own. Build a cohesive team and let them do their jobs. 9. Do one thing really well. 8. Get paid before you hand over a project to a client. This is especially important if you provide a service. 7. Undercharging is not sustainable. By the time you pay taxes, employees, insurance, your best rate may be difficult to maintain. 6. Be grateful and appreciate loyal customers. Good will and respect translates to loyalty. 5. Patience and flexibility help you survive the lean times. Work with customers and they will remember! 4. People don’t leave companies - they leave management. This lesson goes for both employees and customers. 3. Look after those who look after you. If someone says nice things about the company tell them you appreciate their kind words.

Load bank testing—what is it? First and foremost, generator set load bank testing verifies that your standby generator is reliable all around. Secondarily, but just as importantly, such testing scrutinizes your generator’s ability to run at the full kW output at which it is rated. EMSCO Involved in Lowertown St. Paul Saints Stadium Site Demolition EMSCO is excited to announce that we are working with Ryan Companies and Rachel Contracting on the Lowertown Stadium Project in St. Paul.
