The standard rooms are outstanding, deluxe doubles which are circa 50 square metres with resort view, they are spacious, stylish and boast some classic touches.

The balconies are amazingly large with very comfortable loungers. We highly recommend the deluxe ocean view rooms, which have the very finest views of the Atlantic Ocean and the island of La Gomera.

The main Citadel building also offers junior suites with resort or ocean view and one bedroom suites. The junior suites are up to 70 square metres whilst the one bedroom suites have a separate lounge off the bedroom and are up to 80 square metres. Moving away from the main Citadel building there are the Villa Double rooms and the Tagor’ Villa room categories. These are laid out in quieter parts of the resort away from the hub of the Citadel, surrounded by pool areas and tropical gardens. The more exclusive Tagor’ Villas are the adult only section of the resort and have lots of added value benefits which even include a golf buggy allocated to your room.

Flight options to Tenerife South Tenerife is well serviced by a number of leading airlines including British Airways who offer a great service from Gatwick. The Ritz-Carlton, Abama is only half an hour easy transfer from Tenerife South airport. Most of our clients take private transfers rather than car rental because there are so many dining options on resort and the golf course is so good, there is no temptation to play elsewhere! The flying time from the UK is about 4.5 hours and there is no time difference between Tenerife and the UK!

Beach Club
M.B has been awarded two michelin stars and is the signature restaurant of the renowned Basque Chef Martín Berasategui. Situated on the beach facing La Gomera Island, the ocean-front Beach Club restaurant serves freshly prepared food, refreshments and cocktails until sundown. It’s the perfect place for lunch when you can’t bear to tear yourself away from the ocean.
Kabuki The restaurant was awarded with its first Michelin Star in 2012 and brings a Japanese vibe to the resort. Supervised by the renowned Chef Ricardo Sanz, famous for his clever fusion of traditional Japanese influences with modern Western culinary techniques. El Mirador With a panoramic setting of the Atlantic Ocean it creates a perfect marriage with the local sourced fish and seafood offered at this restaurant.
