While the name of our company may be DutchMANs Casual Living, we’re proud to have a woman at the helm and be a 95 percent woman-owned and operated company. Stephanie Bramble purchased her first store in Highlands, N.C., where she sold floral arrangements, home accessories and small furniture. Fast forward to 2019, Stephanie has opened three additional locations each with their own unique look, feel, and appeal. “Although we are here to sell you great items for your home, I also want you to walk in and be wowed.”

We also care deeply for Mother Earth, weaving together our love for design with our love for the environment. The Bramble headquarters, located in Indonesia, use the finest mahogany and woods while carefully crafting each piece of furniture for your home. Our company goal is to plant one tree for each piece of furniture we sell. Since 2005, more than 700,000 trees have been planted as a part of this effort to remain a sustainable company.

When you step into the St. Simons Island store, rustic wood pieces await your family and invite you to share a meal or use one as a centerpiece in your living room while entertaining friends. Cozy couches made by popular designers like Rowe Furniture and Robin Bruce will embrace you in comfort after a long day. They’re the perfect match for a snug blanket and chilled glass of chardonnay. For a more masculine look, our upholstered couches, sectionals, chairs and ottomans are the perfect addition to any room. These pieces will give your living room a distinct and attractive feel. Update your lighting fixtures with an elegant 17th Century inspired bronze chandelier with distinct geometric features that draw your guests’ eyes to its glow.

Sleep like royalty in our king beds and wake up with a sense of grand elegance in your bedroom with European styled and masterfully carved pieces. Our dressers are created to add a touch of sturdy sophistication and elegance to practical storage space. Shop end tables in styles that range from compelling design with a fabulous mix of earthy materials to savvy storage pieces.

Still not feeling at home? Indulge in our signature candle selection and let notes of fruit and spice scent the breeze wafting through your beach home. Our assortment of fragrances will fill the air with a variety of spice, cinnamon, honey, citrus, and vanilla.

I love camellias because they’re like roses in winter. In our garden we have camellias blooming from December through March. Gorgeous! My passion is working with the community in outreach projects like visiting Magnolia Manor and Thrive. Cassina offers these residents an opportunity to make their own fresh flower arrangements to take back to their individual apartments.

We moved here from New Jersey in 2006 and I built our garden from scratch. We were invited to show on the Garden Walk in 2012 and again in 2016, when I was co-chair. I was the first male member of Cassina Garden Club in 2013; there are now two. For many years we have grown the fascinating “Night Flowering Cereus” which not only flowers just once a year, but for only one night, about midnight. It’s not too difficult to grow, but also not too easy to capture a photo!

Lantana is one of my favorite plants. It is available in a multitude of colors, very fragrant, drought tolerant, easy to grow, and flowers continuously from spring until frost. It even seems happy growing wild at the beach entrance of Gould’s Inlet. But the best part about this plant is that the butterflies, bees, and dragonflies love it too!
