Smart & Stylish Looks for School

School is back in session, but it’s still hot here in the Golden Isles, so this month’s fashion feature showcases stylish looks from local retailers that prove our students are smart enough to stay cool no matter what their age.

After a day of learning, it’s time to enjoy some play time at Neptune Park. Our elementary school girls, Elisabeth Downing (in white top and pink shorts) and twins Julia (in yellow blouse and tropical print shorts) and Abigail (in tropical print dress) are all sunshine and smiles in coastal casual styles from the J. Bailey Collection at Bailey Boys.

Middle school students Maddie Lavallee and Eloise Wall have the perfect opportunity away from the parents to show off these cute purses to stash their cash and other essentials while they grab a bite at Sal’s Neighborhood Pizzeria. Maddie’s sparkly starred camo bag adds some glam to her simple yet stylish blue jersey dress. While Eloise’s smiley, pink cross-body adds a touch of whimsy to both a striped dress and sweater/skirt ensemble for a fresh look either day or night. Graduating Glynn Academy senior Caleb Faulk (in striped performance polo and shorts) and UGA sophomore Trey Pralinsky (in patterned button down and performance pants) find the quiet casual vibe at Local Brew in The Shops on Market Street makes it an ideal spot to study or relax and fuel up with some caffeine or a snack. While Trey focuses on pre-law studies with business and finance classes, Caleb is contemplating travels abroad and other educational possibilities. Preppy attire from Southern Tide will keep them in style whatever their future paths hold.
