ONTARIO CROSS-LAMINATED TIMBER PLANT ADDS FOREST STEWARDSHIP COUNCIL® CHAIN OF CUSTODY CERTIFICATION

Element5, Ontario’s only cross-laminated timber (CLT) manufacturer announced on Friday (4-16-21) that its new factory in St. Thomas, Ontario, has received Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) Chain of Custody certication from SCS Global Services. Elements5’s mission is to make positive contributions to communities, the environment, and future generations through the development and delivery of high-performance mass timber buildings made from sustainably sourced wood products. Through our FSC certication, Element5 stand alongside other producers in our industry in a commitment to the long-term health and sustainability of our forest resources. As an FSC Certicate Holder, Element5 will produce mass timber products certied as FSC Mix (Trademark License Code: FSC-C166066).
