Design: The design intention was to treat the
bulding as the main piece of art. The use of angular shapes were implied in order to reflect a less conventional shape. The exterior and interior of the space were intentionally disconnected in order to provide the sense of circulation freedom
The exhibit space will consist of highly controlled natural and artificial light for paintings as well as spaces for sculptures.

COLLABORATIVE WORK: Conceptually, the hermitage to evoke a deep spiritual awareness. Studio 12 sought to achieve this by manipulating the light that enters the building that enhance the contrast of sacred a profane spaces.
The design was created by separating the daily activities from the sacred ones. An analysis of importance due to their respective function.

THESIS STATEMENT:
For sociological reasons, from the 20th century to the current times space designed for the nightlife entertainment became less and less formal. From the 1950’s to the 1970’s, the focus on the performing arts was very dominant, however, it was diminished and often substituted as a form of entertainment by simply dinning, drinking and dancing. Therefore, it seems to be a lack of designed space to recreate an identity of nightlife that would also adapt and reflect
TIMELINE ANALYSIS:
the current sociological lifestyles and trends. In response, there is a need to design an architec-
ture that implements the current nightlife environment and represents an artistic contribution not only in its function but also in its form. This design will be accomplished by focusing on a new visualized form derived from tectonics method, in order to capture the audience atten tion and creating an innovative experience.
