The studio focuses on urban and infrastructural situations as the setting for the critical questioning of the university as an urban and infrastuctural device fot the metropolis. Students explore the developement of an architecture that aims to revitalise the primary architectural elements of 'Ground' and 'Envelope' for the production of heterogeneous spatial outcome in the form of a civic-scaled building set on the Greenwich Peninsula.
