master Thesis 2016 madrid

The project renovates two buildings in a “supermanzana of Madrid and works on the concept of public place. The project develops itself within the horizontal dimension: it almost occupies the totality of the area in length and it works together with the ground, modifying the existing slopes and becoming one single thing with it. The environment overcome the building in different parts: in that way the pavilion creates a strong relationship with the site. One is indispensable of the other.

paesaggi informi a place for artists and expositions

context / year / location /

An effective response to the urgent needs of contemporary design is the synergy of contributions from multiple fields of study. In this context, I consider the basic example of Landscape Urbanism, discipline born of the desire of urban planners and landscape architects to unify their knowledge in a unique approach to urban planning.
