e Fuchs Elephant Charge 2021 results will be announced online as soon as possible a er the event. ere will be no prize giving ceremony at the event but we plan to conduct this in conjunction with a results night in a socially distanced manner on the 9th October at 18:00 at the Tap House.
A LITTLE MORE INFORMATION…. We are in the wilderness and the mission of Elephant Charge is to protect the extraordinary beauty of this country. Any personal ideas of fun cannot interfere with the environment, which is home to many local communities. If you are in doubt about the guidelines, be sure to ask any Charge O cial.

CAMPING Be sure to check in at HQ before setting up your campsite! We do have allocated camping areas, this is to allow space for everyone, so that we are not all camping on top of each other. ere is also an entry fee of K100 per vehicle, which is donated to the local community that is hosting us at the site. Please camp in the designated areas only. All campers are expected to be self-su cient in terms of camping equipment. Basic ablution facilities are provided. Please do use them and keep them clean and tidy throughout the weekend.
LITTER e Bright Future Project will be providing recycling services at the Elephant Charge. ey will be providing recycling bags for each campsite. Please make sure that you put all of your waste in these bags, they will be collected at the end of the event which shall then be recycled in Lusaka.
FIRE It is dry season. e bush is like a tinder box. Light a re ONLY in your designated camping area, if possible, please use mbaulas or gas stoves. Make sure there is a clear space (foliage free) around your camp re. Do not leave the re unattended. Put water on the re if you have to leave it. Cigarettes are a re hazard. Please do not throw cigarettes out of the car windows or leave them on the ground they are not biodegradable.
NOISE e Elephant Charge takes the view that noise is as much a form of pollution as any other. A sociable quiet conduct is acceptable which means no loud music. If possible, leave the generator at home, however, if you must have one, please place it well away from the other camps and in a pit to minimize the noise. Generators must be switched o by 10pm.

is year we have teamed up with BioCarbon Partners - BCP, who helped us calculate just how much we need to o set against in order to achieve 10% climate positivity for this year’s Charge. Simply put, across the entire event, we are o setting more emissions than we are emitting by 10%, from our use of fuel to, from, and during the Charge, to the cooking the teams will be doing on site.
ere has never been more of a need to go climate positive as there is now. We charge for conservation, to protect the environment we all love so dearly, and conserve so passionately, and we are happy to do it as Climate Positive event.
