WHAT IS GORE? The GORE
®
Performance Fibre has been specifically engineered for use in a braided fishing line and is created from expanded Poly-Tetra-Fluoro-Ethylene (ePTFE). It’s inert to virtually all known chemicals and will not degrade or lose strength after exposure to saltwater, solvents, lubricants or UV radiation.

1. Expose a two inch length of inner core and remove with scissors.
2. Hook splicing needle through the outer section where the inner core ends.
3. Push the splicing needle up through the outer section and exit about an inch up.
4. Take the tag end of the outer section and tuck under a close-gate needle
5. Place a tension bar in the loop and pull the needle back out of the braid outer.
6. The tag end goes back out of the braid, leaving a loop at the end.
7. For the other end, repeat steps 1 to 4 but add a swivel when repeating step 4.
8. Pull through tightly so that the swivel is locked into position.
