the God Ra. The project defines an enlargement of the existing museum, which includes the pit of the second boat, and a new volume, with a pure but alien shape, as any shape would be an alien in front of the perfection of the pyramids, and already an alien is the existing museum of Minissi. The new complex becomes the repetition of the solar journey, with the boat of the day trip, in the existing volume, full of light and color, and the boat of the night trip, in the new volume, in a dark and intimate atmosphere. The boat is rebuilt divided into two parts, to have a different perception of the journey after death.
The Giza pyramid complex is an archaeological site on the Giza Plateau which includes the three Great Pyramids, the Great Sphinx and several cemeteries, including also the solar boats pits, right next to the pyramid of Cheops. Today one of the wooden boats has been discovered and rebuilt: it is hosted in the museum of the architect Franco Minissi, built with an iconic shape just above the pit, in order to show it in the museum itself. The myth describes the sovereign's solar journeys after his death, the one of the day and the one of the night, with the solar boats, similar to the journeys of

famous "jump of Tiberius". The structure is covered with a faรงade of "rocky" panels, which make the lift become a sort of continuum of the cliff, that rises above the sea. The lift can be reached only by boat from the port of Capri, through a long and thin pier that continues the straight line of the lift directly on the sea. The journey on the elevator goes along a 300-meter route that faces on one side the expanse of the sea overlooking the Sorrento coasts, on the other side, the structure and the staircase, which wants to make itself visible to visitors, until reaching the top of the cliff, and therefore the Villa Jovis.
Villa Jovis is located on the top of Mount Tiberio, which is located in the eastern part of the island of Capri, on more than 300 meters on the sea level. Hard to reach from the main street of the island, this imaginary project makes possible the idea of reaching the villa through a huge elevator that rises from the cliff like a blade, and at the same time becomes a meeting point between the marine and rocky environment. The reticular structure tries to blend in with the rock, and hosts inside a staircase, for the most reckless ones, who want to enjoy an unusual encounter with the cliff, right at the point of the

rooms, surrounded by curtains opaque at the beginning, and gradually more transparent. From every room you can peek through, spying almost what happens on the other side. A photo is taken as the genesis of the installation and as a climax at the same time: a starlet with a look that is lost elsewhere, in a black dress, sometimes transparent, and crowned by a fan with points of light, is strategically placed in a sort of apse, almost reaching the final point of a nave. In its sensuality, made of veils and transparencies, the pavilion has almost something sacred.
History teaches us that Hollywood Starlettes had not just a refined beauty, but they were also capable of expressing themselves in multifaceted forms: from acting to dance, to modeling. The exhibition is the story of this idea of woman. The visitor is invited to cross a sort of theatrical backdrop, in which a special backstage allows you to enter into intimacy with 30 looks, smiles, bodies. It’s like accessing their world, made up of costumes and performances. With a clear reference to the world of veils, of the seethrough, on an architectural scale, the visitor walks through a series of

mold of the archeological finds, which can be touched by the visitor, who has the possibility to enjoy a sort of new dimension of the archeological museum. The same idea is proposed outside, in correspondence of the entrances of the station: thick walls are used to protect the stairs, to create a defined path to the Colosseum and to connect the two sides with the archeological sites right above them, by using a light stairs system. The whole intervention has the aim to create a unit between the infrastructure of the station, the archeological sites and the city, also proposing the "via dei Fori Imperiali" as a pedestrian area of the city of Rome.
The city of Rome is currently building a new metro line, which crosses several historical and archeological points of one the most ancient cities of the world. The most important and central one is the metro station of "Fori Imperiali", right between the Colosseum and Piazza Venezia. Such an important site for a station needs to be not only an infrastructure, but also a sort of a museum, the visitors can enjoy only crossing the metro station every day. The main concept of the project is to clothe the interior walls with panels made up of a perpendicular pattern, typical of the archeological excavation. Inside the cells will be showed the

PIRANESI PRIX DE ROME first prize winner
of the "cryptoporches" of the Villa. The project design an intimate and cozy atmosphere inside the thermal baths, made of a dark and fresh stone and surrounded by contemporary sculptures. The new thermal pavilion finds itself on the line between history and today: it makes the visitors of Villa Adriana rediscover the ancient sacred function of water, in an unpublished version. It is surrounded by greenery and history, in a wing of the villa that is more hidden than the grandeur of the wall of Pecile, in order to give the visitors the peaceful atmosphere typical of the thermal bath. invite the visitors to the entrance and inside the thermal baths.
Villa Adriana is one of the most incredible archeological sites of the world. The structure is a rich complex of buildings spread over a vast area, rich in water sources. Today only a few ruins remain intact, surrounded by a huge green spot. The task of the project is to create a new building, a thermal pavilion, which is able to deal with the ruins and the environment in a proper and respectful way, and to recreate that "architecture of water" which is the main feature of the Villa itself. The building has a horizontal development, with a new faรงade which dominates the hill with a new image of stoaht is made of a succession of vaults, in order to recreate the atmosphere

same time a sort of internal street on different levels, on which the two parts of the building will face themselves. On a smaller scale, the concept of identification of the individual in the architecture, is extremely interpreted and adapted, within the internal "houses", in particular in the institutes of the faculty, whose offices are not designed as a succession of spaces, such as in a conventional configuration, but as the various rooms of a house, an apartment, with the diversification of common and private spaces. Here, the individual can once again identify at best in the workplace, and feel "inhabitant" of it.
A place designed for the needs of its users, in which the individual can indentify itself, a place of interaction and community: these are the basic concepts of the project. "zuhause" means "at home", in fact the idea of the whole project for the new Faculty of Architecture of the TU Dresden turns around the concept of "home". This is implemented in the archetype, the basic shape of architecure, which is extruded to the required length of the building. The heart of the design is the central space, which is filled by a large and long stair: this will be a meeting and interactive space, and in the
