A SWEET STUDENT STORY:

ne of our students in foster care has a withered rm. She desperately wants a way to feel valued nd a place to belong Through All Kids Need Music, she is now taking singing lessons. Her nging is joy-filled, and we rejoice with her as she eals from trauma, gains self-worth, and increases confidence that she can overcome her obstacles o live a happy, meaningful life.

A YOUNG MAN'S JOURNEY:

While we typically sponsor foster children, we received an urgent e-mail from a teenage boy whose father is incarcerated, and his mother can't keep up financially. Other kids can be so cruel, and he really needed something to call his own that he could excel at. We granted his scholarship, and he was gifted a guitar, because his father plays guitar. He is now gaining musical skills while his academic performance improves and depression and hopelessness fade away.

THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF U.S. ORPHANS AND HOMELESS CHILDREN

We are just scratching the surface and can't do this without your help. The stories are all similar for the students we serve - from despair to hope and sadness to joy! in 2023, please help us bring transformation to more children that need to know they are not forgotten and that people will make a way forward to healing and a bright future full of joy

As we close out this year and look to the next, we reflect with gratitude on the privilege of being a part of bringing such needed healing and hope to abused, orphaned children who have suffered so much

We are also grateful for the opportunity to provide a music program in one of New Jersey's most impoverished schools

Students who live below the poverty line are food and housing insecure, and suffer depression and anxiety at a higher rate than other children, which negatively impacts their academics. Through our music program, we are able to provide a positive impact on their learning as well as their mental health

All Kids Need Music is also providing small group lessons for impoverished students from other areas who are unable to participate in music programs at their schools

As we head into 2023, we hope and pray that we can double or even triple the number of children our program can bring healing to We have certainly witnessed the difference therapeutic music lessons bring to at-risk children!

The number of children in foster care is increasing on a national scale, as parents wrestle with a difficult economy. Addiction and mental health issues are on the rise, which often trickles down to children in the form of neglect and abuse.

We simply can't stand by and lose an entire generation of at-risk children when we can intervene to bring hope, healing, and improved academic outcomes that lead to opportunities for the future

You are changing children's present, which will impact their futures Please be as generous as you can so we can serve as many at-risk children as possible
