1. Liverpool won 32 Premier League games this season, a joint-record in the history of the English topflight alongside Manchester City.
2. Juventus won their ninth straight Serie A title this season. Juventus have now won 36 league titles in Italy, a record among Europe’s top five leagues, and their ninth title win in a row aligns them with Celtic and Ludogorets who are currently also on a run of ninth league titles on the spin.

3. Real Madrid seal 34th La Liga title to extend record this season. This is Madrid’s first league title since the 2016/17 season, and the second under the stewardship of manager Zinedine Zidane.
4. Bayern München won their eighth straight Bundesliga title this season. Prior to FCB’s current run of eight consecutive titles, no team had ever won the Bundesliga more than three seasons in a row. Having won 29 of the 57 campaigns played since the league was founded in 1963, Bayern have now brought over half of the titles home to Munich.
5. Istanbul Basaksehir won the Turkish title for the first time this season, ending the dominance of the city’s big three clubs Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Besiktas.

6. Kevin De Bruyne has assisted 20 Premier League goals this season, a joint-record in the competition alongside Thierry Henry in 2002/03.
7. Robert Lewandowski, the exceptional Polish striker is once again top scorer in Bundesliga in 2019/20 season. The 31-year-old surpassed Leipzig’s Timo Werner to top spot and secured the trophy for the fifth time after 2013/14, 2015/16, 2017/18 and 2018/19. Gerd Müller is the only player before Lewandowski to be top scorer in the Bundesliga three seasons in a row, from 1972 to 1974.
8. Leeds United have been promoted to the Premier League after 16 years away. Argentine Marcelo Bielsa has led the Yorkshire side to promotion in his second season in charge after finishing third in the Championship in 2018-19.

9. Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo has become the first player to score 50 or more goals in Serie A, La Liga and the Premier League.
10. Frank Lampard finished fourth in his first season as a manager with Chelsea, the highest finish by a debuting English manager since Frank Clark with Nottingham Forest in 1994/95.
11. Former Newcastle United, Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid player Emre Belözoğlu has announced his retirement. Now 39, the midfielder will hang up his boots at Fenerbahce and move into management. Emre is to become the new sporting director at Fenerbahce. In Turkey, he played for Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Basaksehir.
