New Elfa products target rising storage needs, latest design trends Elfa is introducing a number of new products aimed at helping the growing number of people wrestling with “more things and less space” to discover their storage potential. At the same time, the Swedish manufacturer is meeting the latest trends in interior decorating with an exclusive, all-new design for its sliding doors, as well as trendy “colour collections”. The company that prides itself on developing smart and flexible storage solutions is unveiling three new space-efficient and multifunctional additions to its storage line-up: Solid Drawer, Utility Door and Wall rack, and Classic 45. Classic 45/ 90 is an easy to install wall-hung storage concept building on Elfa’s popular Classic 60 system. It includes wire shelves, shelf baskets, gliding shoe rack/shelf and more, all designed to help consumers take full advantage of narrower spaces where Classic 60 is too wide. The new and broad range of storage components in 45 and 90 cm width together with Elfa’s existing broad range of storage components in 60/ 120 cm width makes Elfa more flexible to meet consumers needed measurement and create optimized storage in more spaces. Solid Drawer is a lid-sealed, translucent and gliding drawer available in two heights for both Classic 60 and Classic 45 and for Elfa’s standard drawer system in width 45. Drawers can easily be removed and brought along to another room, e.g. for tidying up toys after playtime, or swapped around for convenient seasonal storage. Lids also make them practical for setting up a recycling centre in the home Utility Door and Wall rack is a new addition to Elfa’s Utility range of storage boards, baskets, hooks, shelves and other add-on components for organizing utility rooms, sheds, garages, etc. The new rack, board and baskets can easily be hung on any door without using any screws, creating a large new storage space where before there was only a door. New sliding doors with focus on design Elfa is also well known as a manufacturer of made-to-measure sliding doors. This year the company is introducing Estetic – an elegantly designed profile for the premium market. – Estetic is the most beautiful door we’ve ever created, says Elfa’s Johanna Cahné, Category Developer BA Doors. It’s also our most versatile in terms of features, which include softclosing, integrated LED-lighting and unique sanded finishes. With Estetic, our goal was to create a super premium door for consumers who want the best when it comes to both design and function.
