Travel back in time to the year 1873 when the largest station of its type was the hub of the Railway City. 3 - jumbo the elephANT monument

Imagine circus crowds marveling at the elephant purported to be the "largest ever held in captivity" . In 1985, the 100th anniversary of Jumbo's tragic death after being struck by a locomotive, St. Thomas dedicated this 38-ton statue.
